Planning a James Bond marathon beginning with Dr. No

Planning a James Bond marathon beginning with Dr. No.

1.) rank your bonds and 2.) post your favourite 007 film.
>Connery, Brosnan, Dalton, Craig, Moore, Lazenby
>Goldfinger

That's pretty much it right there

this

but from russia with love = goldfinger

Connery, Craig, Brosnan, Dalton, Moore, Lazenby.

1: Goldfinger.
2: From Russia With Love
3: Dr. No

Craig>>>>>>Brosnan>Connery>>>Moore=Dalton>>>>>>>>>>>Lazenby
>Skyfall

r u me?

>Connery,Dalton,Moore,Lazenby,Brosnan,Craig
>definitely Goldfinger
I just don't think any of the "modern age" Bonds really captured the essence as well, (over the top villans, not just terrorists) and I think Daniel Craig came off like a whiny bitch

Agree with you on your bonds
Completely agree on your top 3 ranking

I only liked Craig in casino royale and spectre because they were the only two of his films that felt like Bond films. Despised him otherwise.

I mean its just obvious isn't it?

I do have a soft spot for Diamonds are Forever though, even if it is kind of silly.....pic related.

Skyfall was fucking trash.

Your bond order is debatable (although Connery will always be number 1). Also Dr. No has always been overrated since it's the first. I completely agree that Goldfinger and from Russia with love deserve the first and second place. But there are multiple bond films that could take the place of Dr. No in that third spot including my guilty pleasure
goldeneye
Why diamonds are forever?

>Brosnan
>Craig
>Connery
>Moore

Die Another Day

Yeah, I mean I like Craig more than a lot of people do.

I think Brosnan fit the part better than anyone save Connery and Dalton was a better fit for the part too; but I like the tone of the more recent Bond films more than Brosnan or Dalton's outings. Goldeneye is a lot of fun; but the later Brosnan films got pretty ridiculous. The Dalton films are fun 80's action flicks; but they feel more like an action movie than a spy movie.

>die another day
severe nostalgiafag

Its got Connery, its fun, I have a thing for redheads (Jill St. John) and I liked the wildly politically incorrect gay villains.

I recognize that its not the best Bond film; but it just hits a lot of notes that appeal to me.

I agree but I also have to post out that Quantum of Solace and Skyfall were horrible and did not feel like bond films. Although I did enjoy casino royale (even if it did feel like a partially incomplete story) and spectre (due to its classic ties and traditional bond archetypes).

Moore, Connery, Dalton, Brosnan, Craig, Lazenby
1. License to Kill.
2. The Spy Who loved Me.
3. A View to a Kill.

I always felt that a Bond film was defined by its villain, not its Bond. I always like Sanchez because he wasn't some over the top megalomaniac bent on world destruction. He was just a drug lord, trying to defend his empire. Down to earth and refreshing.

License to Kill is fantastic but putting Moore first is just wrong. He doesn't even deserve to be in the top three.

Moore was a horrible agent and basically acted as a brawler who got his ass kicked half the time and rarely pulled the trigger.

Oh and it has Bambi and Thumper.

Its the craziest of the Connery Bond films and my favorite of all the goofy Bond flicks (Moonraker, etc.)

I liked Skyfall, its not your typical Bond film; but I really like Bowl Cut's villain, although I didn't appreciate Hollywood forcing the gay vibes so hard.

>dalton 3rd instead of dead last

mfw

What bothered me is that they basically tried to make Javier bardem Heath ledger's character from the dark knight. Just look at the temporary jail scene for instance and their escape.

They are the same psychotic anarchist character. And if pissed me off to no end.

To even suggest that Lazenby is better than Dalton is complete blasphemy.

Even though Dalton isn't my top pick he is closer to the bond depicted in Ian fleming's novel than any other actor.

Now what is everyone's favourite bond vidya?
>Goldeneye
