Beach House - Space Song
great song

I Am A Nightmare, I wasn't being totally serious. I listen to that song when I wanna feel the burn of no more Brand New.

I'm living on the small amount of hope they still release a last album

A friend just gave me a Rifts shirt so I'm in the mood

I built a little empire out of some crazy garbage
Called the blood of the exploited working class
But they've overcome their shyness
Now they're calling me Your Highness
And the world screams, "Kiss me, Son of God"
I destroyed a bond of friendship and respect
Between the only people left who'd even look me in the eye
Now I laugh and make a fortune
Off the same ones that I tortured
And the world screams, "Kiss me, Son of God"
I look like Jesus, so they say
But Mr. Jesus is very far away
Now you're the only one here who can tell me if it's true
That you love me and I love me
I built a little empire out of some crazy garbage
Called the blood of the exploited working class
But they've overcome their shyness
Now they're calling me Your Highness
And the world screams, "Kiss me, Son of God"
Yes the world screams, "Kiss me, Son of God"

im listening to this album right now too actually, pretty good stuff

Yeah, I'm hoping so too. Last time he talked about it he seemed confident it would be finished at some point but it just seems so shaky to me.

hot opinion alert:
this is opn's only good album

closer - Joy Divison. First time, really nice.

>now I'm going to listen to Ulver's new record again
Nice. How do you like it? I love it

About my 12th listen this week. I can't get enough of it

...

Best album recorded through a trash can
I actually listened to it because I saw something about drawing parallels to Depeche Mode's sound and even though I see it, it's a great album that stands on its own. The really epic moments on the album are so well done but it never seems blown it. Definitely enjoy it a lot.

That is one hot opinion. Doesn't bother me though.

Bill Evans- Sunday at The Village Vanguard

where my jazz cats at

yeah, it's pretty nice minimalistic cold synthpop that sounds straight from the 80's. some shit i could fall asleep to

I haven't listened to this album in about 6 months. I forgot how good it is.

sometimes I feel like I'm trying too hard

mmmm

The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me does this a bit and I love it. It's really an underrated thing to do it makes everything flow really nicely

Blissful stuff, should've got into it earlier

objectively the best Yes album

Hey I never new that, I only ever listened to that one - so like daisy and deja? Any others I missed?

nah your favorite weapon doesnt do it nor do their smaller albums they have released

Listen to Your Favorite Weapon if you wanna see their roots, it's my least favorite of their albums though. Also, they have a bunch of demos and stuff that are actually pretty cool when you wanna check out the variations of some of their big tracks, especially from TDAG has some good demos floating around. I think a bunch of them were actually compiled into a single release at some point.

Father John Misty - I Love You, Honeybear
First time listening, currently at track 3 (which is the best so far), thought Fear Fun was decent so I figured I'd give this and then later Pure Comedy a listen.

been listening to the new singles from the upcoming King Gizzard record. sounds like a sequel to Nonagon. hype is up the fucking wall.

is it true there's King Gizzard lore?

last year they released demos from '06 i think, assuming that because its Leaked Demos 2006. Deluxe edition of Your Favorite Weapon has some demos as well.

Also (Fork and Knife) is a really interesting track they have released. It's unlike anything else they have done at all.

Fuckin nice dude, Roland for life
Was listening to Henry Threadgill earlier. Good taste my dude

There is lore. It references in your mind, nonagon and paper mache. It's on rutracker m8 what are you waiting for!
