"So, Jay, what did you think of [insert movie title here]?"

"So, Jay, what did you think of [insert movie title here]?"

Jay: I hated this movie

Mike: I loved this movie

Jay: Well I didn't hate it

Every time

Mike: I hated this movie
Jay: I kinda like this movie
Mike gazes into Jays gorgeous eyes
Jay: I hated this movie.

Mike: I loved this movie
Rich: I thought it was fucking stupid

Jay: I hated this movie

Mike: No you didn't

Jay: Oh I didn't? Oh okay.

Jay: I liked this movie.

*Mike is already on the ground in a drunken stupor*

Jay: I didn't hate this movie.

"That's right Mike, but did you know—"

BORDERLINE

EXPERIMENTAL

Does mike mentally rape jay at this moment?

this meme is very outdated

nowadays when they see a piece of trash mike usually (somewhat ironically) enjoys it while jay shits on it

Mike: I hated this movie

Jay: We should say up front it was written by our good friend Max Landis

Mike: Well I didn't hate it... there were problems... I've read the script and there were a lot of good ideas that didn't make it to the screen... Max is a GOOD guy

These two really are the next Ebert and Roeper.

>meme
have you even watched any HITB episode?
this happens every time.

You're not disagreeing, you're arguing that it happens more now than ever

BTFO

Mike : I loved this movie
Rich : I thought it was fucking stupid
Everyone : And that's why we loved it

nah i'm saying jay doesn't change his mind

that happened early on in hitb but now he doesn't give movies free passes due to "schlock"

Mike = Ebert

Jay = Siskel

Rich = Roeper

AIDSMoby = Siskel's brain cancer

Jay: I hated this movie.

Mike: Muh schlock!

Jay: Well I didn't HATE it.

Jay: schlock

Mike: schlock

Rich: schlock

Hey don't you guys get tired of RLM's use of irony and post-irony? I mean I really enjoyed their stuff at first but then it just got repetitive.

>"I think this is a movie which we have wildly different opinions on"
>Mike thinks It's great, Jay thinks it's good

Nah

It did start to feel hollow after watching Space Cop and realizing smartass cynicism is really all they have to offer.

>"There's a lot of excitement, there's a lot of buzz and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me because I have no interest in intentionally shitty movies. The best bad movies are the ones where the people making it didn't realize they were making a bad movie."

- Jay Bauman, director / star of Space Cop on Sharknado

They're my simulated friends now. Quality no longer enters into my thoughts on them.

what?

Everyone has their shtick and IMO the RLM guys have some of the best humor when it comes to their type of content. I suppose from time to time I'll get a bit tired of their stuff but never indefinitely, just like most good youtube channels.
