Pretty good. Butler is 6-0 after offing Arizona, should be in the top 20 now. We should be able to beat Utah but idk. IU is easily the biggest game before conference play.

Feels good here too at 7-0 except im pretty scared for the kentucky game to come

thanks for exposing arizona for us

Oh shit another bruins fan sighting. What do you make of Anigbogu? We already know what we're getting with Ball and Leaf, I'm just hoping he's also top-gear in time for the UK game.

No problemo, we need as many wins as we can get before we get into Big East play, it's pure hell.

Hey, /cbb/ is back!

Draft analysts are all hacks. Both the professionals who scout/analyze for a living and fans who have made a name for themselves as "draft guys" are all 100% joke hacks who contradict themselves and each other. All you need is basketballreference and your own eyes

WHO'S FUCKING READY?

No one can ever truly be ready.

>someone on Sup Forums actually follows through

WHAT KIND OF WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN

we're making /cbb/ great again

Could this be OUR YEAR?

>Game only on pac12 network
Fugg.

Anything better than vip-box tier i can do, lads?

>tfw no stream for my team

feels bad man

>lose game
>go from unranked to ranked

G-go gators we're gonna be great again...

asu btfo.

Why the fuck don't the FBS conference dominate at basketball?

I'm not saying CUSA should challenge for a natty, but they should be playing better than the fucking MEAC or A-10 or whatever.

>Cats

some of their star programs have had down years and haven't recovered yet.

I don't mean star programs like P5 teams, they're good every year.

I mean, if G5 teams (CUSA, AAC, MW) are spending that money on football, they should be able to damn sure outspend the goddamn OVC.

Man Kentucky might actually be pretty good this year

people keep talking how they can't shoot, but they've shot pretty damn lights out the past few games

It's like watching 90s college bball

Might try a stream? You a Utah or Butler fan?

jesus christ that pass by monk

Well Big East schools for example put all their money into basketball so that's why they're always good and instead play FCS football.

Fox needs one assist for the triple double

Butler, which is why i dont have gotdamn pac12 network

>implying the A-10 is some scrub conference that mid-majors should beat
get a load of this guy

Charlotte and ODU who were solid tournement programs haven't been able to find the coaches they need to get their programs going again. There might be some hope with Price at Charlotte but he need to land a big man that can help take his program next level. UTEP used to be a reliable tourney program as well but they been in a rut lately as well. WKU seem to be turning it around with thee class they are bringing in next year. As for UAB I can't say what their issue is.

he did it senpai

Try this

youtube.com/watch?v=jJzyauxJTfk

Much obliged, user

Don't know if it'll work the whole time, but it's the best one I could find that wasn't going to give us trojans.

Goddamn

Basketball requires far less resources than football, which makes campus size less important. You only need to get a few recruits per year and you're set. Plus, football attendance relies on getting 25k people to drive into town for the weekend, while basketball needs 10k people that will show up regularly on random weeknights. Which makes being in a city a better thing for basketball because you have more people that can easily get to the games. That's how leagues like the Big East and A-10 can hang with the big conferences.

Also, C-USA, Sunbelt, and MAC are mostly irrelevant 3rd-tier state schools, that no one gives a shit about, that shouldn't even be in FBS to begin with. The American and Mountain West are decent and do about as well in bball as they do in football.

Compared to audio only and ten billion popups, i won't complain.

Rick stansbury is the coach at western. They'll be headed to the NCAA tournament next year at the least. After shit went down hill at Miss st I guess he just recharged his batteries for a couple years and is back actually coaching. Hes responsible for those couple of big classes that Texas A&M got recently.

suck it app state

I hope competing against that class will help my school recruiting a little

Kentucky plays so fucking fast man. It's fun to watch. Throwback to some of those super fast teams from the 90s.

>someone actually made that image

also, nice get.

>UConn

I use it in the /cfb/ game threads quite a bit

Oh shit, ACC-Big 10 challenge is tomorrow night.

I guess Ill be on here then.

Have to add, its super nice that theres a legit /cbb/ this year.

Lol rock on man.

what happened?

The Phi Slama Jama 30 for 30 is on ESPN rn

do they not sell basketball jerseys of ncaa players? wtf

I'm pretty sure they do

there's no lonzo ball jersey available. tryna give these jews my money and they won't take it

no cuz the players can't get any money from them. and it's illegal for the ncaa to profit off the likeness of a player that doesn't get a cut.

>C-USA shit-talking

I'm on board.

Eat a dick, Niners.

The more I watch him the more I'm convinced that De'Aaron Fox is the next Westbrook.

And he even has a better stroke which is kinda scary. Tho prolly slightly less athletic.

Ppl gonna be all over Monk and Bam for good reason, but give me Fox all day. He's gonna be a superstar.

Prepare your ass for the 31st of December. You're getting the L after the niners take out the Terps

Fox does not have the shooting westbrook has

Do you even remember Westbrook at UCLA? Or in his early NBA career? He was not a good shooter at all, he's still not a good shooter. He's just worked so hard at it that he's respectable.

Fox has a mechanically sound stroke that just needs work. He would project to be a very capable shooter at the next level.

If you don't milk the shot clock against Kentucky you are going to get beat by at least 30. No matter who you are.

But even if you milk, their D is legit.

This is better than their AD/MKG and KAT/Booker team. Because they're deeper.

>Utah lost to Butler
>Minnesota lost to Florida State

Is FSU good lads? I should proabably start watching them before I leave FSU.

No idea, kenpom has them ranked 36th in Division I, which is good, but that still comes out to only 10th in the ACC.

Feels good man to beat Utah, only hard game left before conference play is IU.

FSU is a decent team that is going to be BTFO because they're stuck in the ACC, most other conferences they be near or in the top 5 teams.

Well yeah, but you play in the Big East, so.

>TAMU-CC
I never thought I'd see the day.

They play the real TAMU on Monday, so it won't last.

Yeah, that's when we'll start racking up some losses ;_;

Ah well.

Go Valpo!

I think we have a chance against Rhode Island. UK is gonna eat us alive tho lel

>be in a G5 football conference
>can't accomplish shit in /cbb/

What the actual fuck tho

The American and Mountain West do about as good in basketball as they do in football.

The MAC, Sun Belt, and Conference USA are shitty conferences filled with reject schools anyways, so it's no surprise they suck.
