Second track in an ongoing, and likely very long, project. Would love to hear some feedback on what could be done better. Thanks. Will return all feedback, but I'm going to sleep in about an hour so it might be a while before I can return feedback.
This is some pretty neat stuff. Different from other stuff in the genre that I've heard. You definitely have a style going on and I guess the best way to describe it is that the music sounds like your pictures look. Good work.

I listened to children of the sun. I really like the crazy switchups along with the use of filters. I like the bubbliness of the drums as well. I enjoy the use of vocals in a more articulate fashion, so I guess I'd like to hear more of that. Givin u a follow
Interesting style of music. It may not be my cup of tea because I don't really like the style of vocal performance. However, the vocal production is great, very good use of layering vocals/harmonies.
Oh yes gimme more. This is lovely, I love the eccojams vibe this has. If those are performed synths (not sampled) then I'd be extra impressed. Maybe a little less minimal and add some more development? This has a lot of potential.
>One minute >Obscure vinyl samples >Chillhop >Lofi mixed with Witch House
All of my feedback is given on SC, much love.

thanks man, appreciate it! loving your album as well. vocals kinda remind me of lou reed but over some really interesting/spacey melodies. I really like A Pulga o Malabrista - builds so well

Thanks so much hun! I started working on something last night that I really love. Hope I can finish it soon
I love the use of swells and arpeggiation. Overall a very unique sound. Plenty of variety within the tracks which is always appreciated.
very well mixed. The ambient beat goes well with the vocals. I love the rap at the end. you're definitely on the right track. keep doing what ur doing
very calm. A little repetitive but that kinda fits the chill vibe. The clipping adds a nice lofi touch. overall a good job.
I love the intro with the chords fading in. The arpeggios are driving. I like the breakdown in the middle a lot. And the ending with the key change the slow down is perf. A GREAT job overall!
I like land to sea a lot. Your hitting the vaporwave vibe pretty well. Nothing earcatching though IMO.
I really enjoy these beats. followed on soundcloud!
i posted something new. been working on percussion and the speed of my production.
hoping for pointers.

feedback from i really found this interesting. it just gets better through the second half. i felt vibes all the way from bombay royale to hotline miami listening to we know different, and i absolutely love it. i have a lot to learn. how do you do your bass? i love the aesthetic, i love the energy, like the lyricism, i love the energy. i feel like you could do another take occasionally, where you're very slightly off beat. but sometimes leaving that makes it feel organic. idk, i just think very occasionally it goes from super comfy to slightly off.
rec really pretty/moody, also love the mgs references love the atmosphere but i think the snare gets a little repetitive in the part just after the middle

My music is ironically shit but I've always wanted a reaction, let's see somebody tell me to kms. The genre varies to badly done FL Studio "core" parodies to literally just noise and some shit I call "Sadcore Trap" for the keks. www.soundcloud.com/sadsenpaisadcore www.soundcloud.com/oniichansrevengeband sadsenpai.bandcamp.com oniichansrevenge.bandcamp.com
some dooooooooope stuff really digging the voxx amazingly spaced out flow litted

soundcloud.com/isthisevenart/peril literally just posted this track >electronic >people have told my music is similar to that of Lorn >experimental
Impressive flow on this shit. beat reminds me of something I would've heard at my local supermarket growing up and I mean that in the best way. Just started your mini ep and i love it. i think it would benefit greatly from using a real drum kit but I still think this is great. this shit is crazy. reminds me of OPN. a nice change of pace from the usual stuff that gets posted in these threads.
some people say i make too much sad music but i just make what i like. i dont want to make music that makes people depressed though :( what should i do?
I was planning to make a thread for this, but think posting here is a better option. I want to make a new Soundcloud / youtube channel focused on /jp/, Sup Forums and /vg/ related music. The idea of my project is to produce and arrange stuff like the OST from games like Dark Souls, some visual novel or OPs/EDs from different anime. This won't be a solo project, because I'm going to ask help from different musicians. You could say that I want to do something like CollaboDensetsu, except that I plan to make orchestral and Metal versions of the songs (Heavy/Power Metal).
My big question goes here: What name should I use on my new channel? I appreciate advices of all kinds.

first song in and im backin it, will definitely give the rest of the EP a listen
Whatever is playing that staccato part sounds terrible. I think it's the bass and some guitar with chorus. It's just the chorus making it sound bad I think. The one guitar that comes in clean about 2 minutes in needs some slight delay. Your timing is off a bit in the middle. Other than that I really enjoyed it. I like your sound design and overall choice for layering. Keep it up.
I'm so confused on how to take this chorus melodically. Please someone assist by like humming something at the least.
hiphop/metal combo.
The instrumental production is a treat, this was nice to listen to. I like where you put the bass in the mix and I appreciated your playing style in keeping things unpercussive yet bright.
My only serious gripe is where your vocals sit and how they sound, but that's most likely a genre style and I can't smack you on that if you're writing to your preferred style so at the end of the day the execution is certainly within the style you're going for from what little dreampop I've heard.
I would like to collab with you on my rock and roll desu. I immediately fell in love with Go from the very start. You sort of cut the bullshit most dubstep/edm shoves on me and you jump right into the groove, feels great. With that being said, it still wouldn't hurt to create a bit of an intro of some sort, but nothing overbearing. Otherwise this is a sick banger my dude. The production feels pretty great, but, I feel like your snares occupy too much of the mix and they're a bit too airy. Once again, a tiny gripe, but all in all you write some cool stuff.
I like the song you've got here. It's like Flock of Seagulls met David Bowie. Though, the motif where you have the guitar play the 2-1-2-3 at around 1:58, I feel like you overuse that because feels discordant to the rest of the piece. I liked it altogether though. Your vocals are a little quiet and the guitar is a bit loud though.
>tfw too dumb to make music even with mario paint composer
Alexander Campbell
Just do what 90% of the posters here do, get Cymatics free kits and start slowing down old disco music and since you can't mix or master, call it lo-fi and experimental :^)
usually i find rap really lame and embarrassing, but this was actually pretty cool. nice mood to it, i like the different vocalists and how they work together. nice job
reminds me of tears for fears' B-sides from songs from the big chair. it has a very intense and important sound to it, if you know what i mean
>cycly super cool sound right off the bat. the vocals seem to come in and out of fitting with the rest of the song. like sometimes it fits and sounds great, other times it sounds like a glados sample awkwardly laid in there. maybe with more listens i'd be able to pick up what you were going for with them
those threads are the shit: nobody never listen the other stuff, it is always the same people copying and pasting their soundcloud presentation trying to get attention from the others just for some stupid view on their channel... nobody actually listen more then 20-30 seconds of song from who they "rec". Good content won't find a way in this kind of thread, good content get buried among "popular" boys with more subscribers. And even with some "rec" good content still remain unnoticed in soundcloud, nobody, except the 2 people that liked it is gonna notice you. So... good luck with your popularity contest in the thread
