How come wages in the US are so extremely high?

how come wages in the US are so extremely high?

Our skilled proffesiinals make a lot more money. Most people don't make that much and earn the average of a first world country.

jews

idk i only make 26k

i thought that czechia would have higher wages than poland or at least slovakia

Their companies don't get taxed enough

/thread

it's PPP desu imo that makes it a little bit skewed

Their salaries are higher but they also have to pay for everything with their own money, almost no government subsidies.
If you're a healthy lucky person, it's a good deal.

why alaska

>almost no government subsidies.
Wut? Its literally the opposite.

>tfw your country is not even on this list

WAKE ME UP INSIDE

these are OECD countries

Average wages =/= median wages

50% of individual workers make less than $30,000, 70% make less than $50,000, almost 85% make less than $75,000

ya been memed. I've seen most of your guys personal tax rates. The US federal income tax rate for some clappistani making $30,000 is 15%, for Germany, someone making that equivalent same amount is also 15%, for France, it's 30%; for Britain, it's 20%; for Netherlands, it's 12.25%; for Spain, it's 31%; for Italy, it's 23%; for Finland, it's 17.50%. But the US also has State & local tax (which can vary between 5% - 15% combined for the average household depending on the State) and Social Security + Medicare (which combine is like 7.24%). The effective tax rates for someone making $30,000-$40,000 isn't really that different (besides for VATs), and with some, we actually have it higher than EU nations in that range, but we have no comparable social programs as you guys do because of ((defense)) spending, boomers and the ((health insurance industry)) that sucks Medicare spending dry and purposely tries to get boomers to get various impractical treatments and tests.

Don't be fooled by burgers bragging about average wages. Most Americans don't make that much over Europeans considering the median wages, taxes, and the fact that they have to spend more money out of pocket for non-government provided services like healthcare, transportation, and education. The existence and role of most of the American population is that of serfs.

I've learned that you're not just supposed to look at the average but also the median because the average is easily affected by outliers.

taxer are much higher in Europe

FIrst sectors job tend to be high paying cause it's hard work.

Alaska is overwhelmingly first sector

Except Europeans don't just pay state taxes, much of their income also goes into funding pension of universal healthcare too.

Overall, they still pay more.

I make 30k € in Spain, am I really wealthier than half of the working Americans?

One subsidy in 2008 doesn't make you socialist, bob.
Just look at tuition, in the states one year of college is like $35,000, here it's $7,000.

Like it should be. Pay for your own shit.

>PPP
>Polish PPP wage is 2 times higher than actual one
into the trash

They don't pay taxes so they have to pay for all the public services like healthcare, firefighters, college, etc.

That's if you go to private university without any scholarship. On average it's 10k

You have to fucking work, plan, and improve yourself constantly to succeed here.

BUT by god, the system WILL reward you if you're good st what you do. If you're not... it will fucking crush you and throw you to the dogs.

Took me many years.

This has to be a meme sheet. People in Germany and Belgium earn more than people here.

>If a British guy saw someone at the wheel of a Rolls- Royce, he'd say 'come the revolution and we'll take that away from you, mate', where the American would say 'one day I'll have one of those, when I have worked hard enough'. It's unfortunate we Australians inherited the British mentality.

>separate state and federal taxes

Ways wrong with that?
