More generals! /metal/ and /classical/ are consistently the best part of Sup Forums. Shitposting about the same album in five different decdicated threads or gossiping about a musician's breakup could easily be condensed to /aoty/ and /gossip/ etc.

I wish we would stop only discussing albums and maybe talk more about individual songs. Every thread is "what's your favorite album by this artist" and stuff. Not every album is intended to tell a story, some albums are just a collection of songs.

Most of the board is discussion, baits, and memes related to a fucking handful of musicians. I'm just tired of constantly seeing threads related to Grimes, Death Grips, Kendrick, Kanye, Radiohead, NMH etc. I don't give a fuck what Kanye meant by the bleach asshole line, discuss something new for a change.

i agree. Sup Forums feels threads were never harmful, because it's not like people came from other boards to post on them. the only problem was that there were many at a time and that's unacceptable

Nah, Reddit still has the voting system which stifles any sort of discussion by weight of sheer popularity. Unique IDs would also dissolve after 24 hours into a new one.

Ban people who primarily listen to Sup Forumscore, indie and rap. Ban people who think that writing titles of two albums with a ">" sign between them is a worthwhile contribution to a discussion. Ban shitposters, baiters and le epic memers. Ban blatant Sup Forumsacks. Ban "blogpost+give me an album for this feel" posters and similar purposeless garbage. Basically ban as many people as possible. This place is like the middle east and only nukes can cleanse it now.
