Long story short, our prime minister had stolen few billions of dollars, it was revealed by opposition leader Navalniy (with proofs) but the government ignored investigation published despite movie on YouTube about corruption was watched by 20 000 000 of Russians. So yesterday there were a rallies all over the country, people went in a streets to protest, those were the biggest rallies since 2012. Police was ordered to convict people, in Moscow 900 protesters are convicted now.
Protest was mostly anti-corruption one, people also are tired of crisis, poverty, propaganda, religion pushed down the throats, there were many young people because youth has no perspective in Russia.

In a first case you will always work at shit blue collar jobs for 300-400$ salaries, forever, or work as a courier or salesman. If you go to uni, you end up with ~500-600$ salary working as a manager selling some shit. The only two groups who live good lifes in Russia are police/secret services and IT-fags. Barely to no career growth because people who became rich in 90s have their own children + no economy growth.
Housing is expensive, you can not buy if you are not the son of a millionaire. Salaries of young beginners are 150-300 $ (up to 500 in Moscow). Rent one-room apartment is equal to the average local salary. Either live with your parents before 30-40 years, or rent and there is money only for food and clothing. Education has little value here. It is possible to finish 9 classes of school and to earn the loader as much as teacher or the doctor.
