It's 8 for me. I like albums that don't overstay their welcome but still manage to pack a lot in.
>pic unrelated
>running time between 35 - 39 minutes
This is a good album length for me. Not so short that it feels like a glorified EP, and not so long that it gets repetitive.
These. 6 tracks is personally ideal if there are multiple 10+ minute tracks.
>album has a song called "untitled"
:)
A well-done musical reprise that isn't advertised on the track listing is lovely. Makes a good pleb filter too, just spot the ones calling the album lazy for re-using ideas.
when the title track is the last track
>secret ending track that's actually one of the best on the album
i like it when albums also have pretty covers
This
Lyrically coherent themes and symbols throughout the album.
>second half is actually superior to the first
Perfect From Now On
This.
Hi.
>side 3 is the best side of a double album
Last track is sad or melancholy.
>motion picture soundtrack
>the overload
>every other track is of normal length
>except the first or the last track is 15+
album has mostly normal length songs, about 3-6 minutes, but the last track is >25min. turns me on so much.
btw they're releasing Wherever You Go and Rain in Numbers separately on the new b-sides collection
