Germanic definetely
mongols xd
of course they're neither but they have been heavily SWEDED with little slavic influence
Germanic
people so misunderstand what is slavic
did you know sweden is three times more "slavic" than finland?
pictured are russians from rightful finnish clay murmansk peninsula: they are finnic
slavic
As far as European ancestors go, we descend largely from an extinct branch of the Baltic people. Germanic influence is not as strong and not Swedish at all but more like Danish and northern German because those were the people who sent colonists here that were subjugated by proto-Finnics.
Finns share an ancient genetic component with Anglo-Saxons for that reason.
ashg.org
>In addition the Anglo-Saxon period samples appear to share a stronger older component with Finnish (1000GP FIN) individuals.
>murmansk peninsula
*murmansk, kola peninsula* I meant
she married him only for money, she doesn't find him sexually attractive at all
>germanic
a bit I guess
>slavic
not at all. many "slavs" like a lot of russians are finnic though (putin for example would pass as a finn anywhere all the time, literally looks like my uncle).
Slavic
obviously not with that haircut of his
mongoloid
Mongol
Depends on the area.
>Red hair
Finns confirmed THE TRUE GERMANIC
I'd say they are more mongoloid given the language they speak descends from some mongol tribe living in that area at some point in the past.
>hohol talking about mongols
Ironic. Your country was literally a Turco-Mongol breeding ground.
Finns are Finns, some germanic and some Northern Russians
*Germanic
>Northern Russians
Not exist. Such as "Southern" or "Eastern" or "Western" Russian. Same shiet with "Siberian" Russian etc.
Germanic definitely, still doesn't mean that the germanic admixture is particularly high in the general population
Germanic. Slavic genes are uncommon within Finns. But really we are neither.
Putin is of Vepsian (Finnic tribe) ancestry. He even led some festival of Finno-Ugric people
"In 2007, the 1st Festival of the Finno-Ugric Peoples was hosted by President Vladimir Putin of Russia, and visited by Finnish President, Tarja Halonen, and Hungarian Prime Minister, Ferenc Gyurcsány."
It's more that Russia is finnic. Rightful clay.

>Estonians
>totally not slavs
>what are russified finno-ugrics
but yeah, an east-west distinction probably doesn't exist
and russians living in siberia are from whereever
t. ivan
Surely Russians from Siberia and Urals have more Asian genetics although some could be pure Ukrainian etc.
Properly Slavic Russia ends at Moscow.
Cute, would pillage
The "Slavic" influence is just Baltic influence. There hasn't been that much straight Slavic influence in the history of Finland - Scandinavian countries are more Slavic than Finland is.
much of that area was Baltic-speaking at the time of the Slavic expansion too though, even if they were genetically close to the proto-Slavic population. which is why focusing on genetics with categories like "Slavic" silly
"russians" as in russophones, maybe some are genetically asian
but the Russians there are recent immigrants, they could be from whereever
Finnish population has mostly Scandi and Baltic genetic influence. No Slavic.
Ps. A great portion of Russians are just Slavified Finnics but they never managed to Slavify Finland.
R1a isn't Slavic though.
Finns/Karelians have a special branch of CTS1211 which split off from other known branches over 4500 years ago, and that's just the main one there's other subclades of similar age too.
Matter of fact is that at some point in the past Finns had more Finnic R1a but a genetic bottleneck followed by an extreme founder effect reduced the frequency.
>and that's just the main one there's other subclades of similar age too
what would those be
t. R1a-YP1151
Finland does not border Russia? How can you not have people with Slavic ancestry?
By them being the sole enemy of our existence. Even when we were under russian empire no russian immigration was allowed here and only the tszar and his appointed diplomats and evaluators were allowed here.
Finnic peoples have only bordered Slavic peoples for a short time, a 1000 years or so. The first contact was with speakers of "old east slavic". Before that, Balts inhabited the area south of us. So our Baltic loanwords are really old, while our Slavic loanwords are all from either Old East Slavic, or modern Russian.
I misremembered that. Our other R1a lines aren't as old(but still older than Slavic expansion) but some of our R1b is despite being rare.
