No one has confirmed there was a fuel drop. All leads point to there wasn`t one and that flight ran out of fuel and had power failure to do this.

From what i understood of the recording, the pilot, for whatever damn reason, didn`t declare an emergency until it was too late. ATC could not have done anything to help.
