If you're see them on the tour, would you prefer MLK or Bad in slot 4?
I'd take Bad hands down; love MLK, but Bad is such a great, anthemic live song.
The tour has gotten a lot better in my opinion. Night one in Vancouver was weak. They've added Bad and I Will Follow to the setlist, but need to cut the shoehorned political crap from the beginning of songs like Ultraviolet (which doesn't even fit with the song thematically).
I'll bet I Will Follow was scheduled for Vancouver but had to be cut after the delays due to noise ordinances.
I agree the political stuff with Ultraviolet doesn't really fit, but I'm just glad it's on the setlist at all, I was too young to see it on 360
Today's /mu2/ challenge: fix Rattle and Hum
Definitely MLK, heard enough of the big singles
remove it from history
Single album, kill the live tracks and release a proper TJT tour live album or EP outside of these versions:
Hawkmoon 269
Van Diemen's Land (No fade)
Desire
Angel Of Harlem
Heartland
Hallelujah Here She Comes
Love Rescue Me
When Love Comes To Town
God Part II
A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
All I Want Is You
make a fully-fleged live album like UABRS and then release a Rattle and Hum EP
1. Desire
2. Angel of Harlem
3. When Love Comes to Town
4. Van Diemen's Land
5. Hawkmoon 269
6. All I Want Is You
Leave the rest to resurface in reissues later on down the line
The good thing about Rattle and Hum compared to something like ATYCLB is that RaH's issue isn't lack of good material, it's just bloat. So just start picking out the next worst song until you're down to 45-50 minutes
