I'd rather be stuck actually doing something than be stuck in school listening to a teacher who knows shit about what she's teaching, what's more is that it's a "maturitný predmet"
I'd unironically give my left nut to be back in HOUSTON tbqh, but I guess it's just my selective memory

Hi friends
What can I make in microwave that will be enough for ""dinner"" when I get home and isn't complicated/expensive?
I am an autist who has never cooked in his life and just want some step by step shit
who here /RPK/ ?
sausages I guess
>mfw they ask us in english class if we chat online and where
>tfw someone saved and is posting your image
so you are in uni and traveling on student ticket?
Just tell them you talk with your international friends a lot :^)
penpals.
>haha actually yeah, there is this really popular international forum where you can see everyone's flag and because there are so many countries obviously we speak English. however usually posters tend to be interested in countries close to them and communicate with other people from those countries and so there are these "general area" subforums. hehe, actually I do this myself in a subforum called "Visegrad Four" where me and my friends have serious discussions about our politics, history and other interesting stuff. there are some inside jokes that are really funny and it's really fun!
dont use microwave its shit
as for starters in cooking go for something easy like fried sausages with eggs
>dont use microwave its shit
well deadass but I am aware of it
we don't have gas and therefore no oven and frying/boiling anything on an electric stove takes like 10x longer. I don't want to spend time in kitchen because some of people at home have a problem with me. so I am just wondering what's a half-deced half-assed meal I could have, something in 10-15 minutes.
I use electric stove and it literaly takes no longer than 10 min for this
dunno, ours is kinda shit and broken, it really takes a long while, boiling water for a cup of tea takes like 15 minutes. I prefer something that I can leave for "cooking" for a few minutes and then just eat it.
Tell me your honest opinion about union beetween our countries
and why it is great idea
Just say plebbit, it's what I do
>tfw everybody in your country now knows about this fucking place
>22°C

>tfw its probably around 30°C in my room right now
>teplokaust 2: electric bogaloo

I actually welcome sun for now, it's a good change
because we always get fucked either by east or west
~20°C is p. comfy ťbh, it's "pivo na zahrádce" weather, but I dread the day we'll be back to over 25°C, my brain doesn't work in these temps.

I fucking hate this weather and most of spring in general. Weather is getting warm but it always feels fake warmth, dangerous. Always have semi-sore throat and semi-runny nose and I neither feel sick nor well. And there's always cold as fuck wind during really warm temperature which is fucking annoying and dangerous as well. I'd rather have our usual +30C summer with few chilly +20-24C days after thunder and rain than this crap.
hi, how is your day going
I'm just glad the sun is appearing again finally, I was starting to feel depressed. It felt like Winter went on for two months longer than it should have.
Yeah, I'm happy for the sun too. I just hate that it's the season when it's easiest to get sick. There is nothing worse for me than to have cold and runny nose in warm af weather, sweating and having to blow my nose at the same moment. You can never tell when to not wear a jacket/coat because that sneaky wind can catch you any time.
Do you consider Poles white?
hi marcel I've missed you
I found my mp3 player from 2006. What's on it?
Darude - Sandstorm and Gorillaz
I get colds really often, so iktf
>before the World Wars Poland had as many people as the UK and France minus their empires
well that's depressing as shit
post your spring clothes
no
and before that it had even more
look up the Deluge
Deluge lands never were yours m80
yeah I'm aware, what I was surprised about was that it recovered so much from that as well as other calamities later in the partition eras so quickly. The number of ethnic Poles in 1800 was around 5 million.
We're talking about population, not about lands, you autist.
What's the best movie your country ever produced?
Seksmisja, Dzień Świra, Miś
Yours?
>Lithuania
>cinema
top kek, utter meme shit every single one of them
and what would you say is the best Czechoslovak creation?
It's bullshit. Polish population around 1900 didn't exceed 20 million.
btw 2 of those movies are fucking documentaries about
>basketball
lmao
Lithuanian language looks very cool. I wish I could learn it.
To me it looks as if someone took a Slavic language and added Latin suffixes to every word
also
>tfw a few decades ago it was full of Polish loanwords, but their language council was progressively replacing them with made up memewords
reeee!
Unless the population tripled afterwards in a space of 15 years, it must have. 38 million is probably a bit much but this guy I'm reading is putting it at 30 million before World War One began, not including Poles who were still living in German territory.
>To me it looks as if someone took a Slavic language and added Latin suffixes to every word
Because Proto-Slavic was actually a dialect of Southern Baltic languages.
For instance, the word for "to bake" in Proto-Slavic was "pekti" (modern Polish: piec). The word for "can" was "mogti" (móc). The word for "to eat" was "jedti" (jeść). Doesn't it sound Lithuanian as fuck?
Also, 17th-century Lithuanian was very similar to Polish indeed.
skinhead
But it's not that the lands that were considered "Polish" were inhabited exclusively by Poles. We had millions of Jews, Ukrainians and Belarussians. Polish population of post-WWI Poland was only 60% of the country's population.
I forgot I don't live in 10th floor anymore and I jerked off right next to a window
people could have easily seen me
...
Well it's considered one of the most conservative languages, one of the closest to Proto-Indo-European and it was funny for me when I stumbled upon this article
dailymail.co.uk
because at the end of every number, it is pronounced identical as the Lithuanian counterpart (especially the dešimt), there is video/audio there below
Other than this academic stuff this language is useless and is a meme
in pic rel I made a comparison, we pronounce our words exactly how they are written so you can compare it with audio
to bake - kepti
to can/be able - galėti
to eat - valgyti, to eat for animal (or you can say it about person but it will be rude) - ėsti, for example šuo ėda - dog eats
l-lewd
What I was getting at was really just that if Poland had been independent in 1900 it would have had a population that rivalled European France and Britain. Getting into what it means to be Polish before Poland was exclusively the ethno-state it was today is sort of a murky topic because it meant a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
*the ethno-state it is today
>But it's not that the lands that were considered "Polish" were inhabited exclusively by Poles. We had millions of Jews, Ukrainians and Belarussians.
But they were Polish citizens, weren't they?
It's okay user

>What I was getting at was really just that if Poland had been independent in 1900 it would have had a population that rivalled European France and Britain.
Well, it all depends on what borders this 1900 Poland would've had. Because for Poles, "Polish lands" were those Poland had before 1772, while in 1900 most of these lands didn't have Polish "identity" anymore.
Anyway, when Poland emerged as an indepedent country in 1918, it had about 30 million people, but it didn't really challenge the UK or France, because Polish population was very poor, with extremely low GDP per capita and Poland was mostly an agricultural state with little industry. India is a very populous country, but its global relevance is nothing like the US, that is almost 4 times less populated.
can someone post that happy pepe who is showing a thumb up?
Well, they were formally Polish citizens, but most of them weren't in awe of the Polish state. Jews and Belarussians were usually communists, who hoped the USSR would annex Poland as soon as possible, while Ukrainians and Germans were nationalists, who wanted parts of Poland to be either recognized as independent Ukraine or annexed by Germany.
sure
I wish we had the Commonwealth, where Poland and Lithuania were two equal partners and both nations were compelled to learn the language and respect culture of the other side.
I really like multilingual and multicultural states based on mutual friendship, even despite some tensions and stereotypes, like Canada or Belgium.
We would have separate teams in sport, Poles would always beat Lithuanians at football, and Lithuanians would smash Poles in basketball.
thanks. do you have that one maybe where there is no computer and it's not helper?
like this but obviously without text and with thumb up
>Anyway, when Poland emerged as an indepedent country in 1918, it had about 30 million people, but it didn't really challenge the UK or France, because Polish population was very poor, with extremely low GDP per capita and Poland was mostly an agricultural state with little industry. My point was more that if it wasn't for the World Wars Poland could have a population rivalling Germany today maybe. It puts into perspective how utterly depopulated Poland still is from the World Wars, that unlike every other European country Poland's population is actually roughly the same as it was 100 years ago.
this one?
>Poland could have a population rivalling Germany today maybe.
Poland is much smaller than Germany.
And the problem with Poland is that our population was always a burden for us, because we were uninnovative and our economy was based on agriculture, so we didn't need so many people. That's why there are so many Polish immigrants everywhere in the world, Poland couldn't export anything but them.
>It puts into perspective how utterly depopulated Poland still is from the World Wars, that unlike every other European country Poland's population is actually roughly the same as it was 100 years ago.
It's not wars, but emigration, as mentioned above. We had a great baby boom after both wars, but it was compensated by great emigration.
I guess multiculturalism was a mistake after all
I will take that too. Another kind user uploaded the one I was looking for, thank you both
You're describing most of Europe before the Industrial Revolution. Of course Poland would never have been able to industralize like Germany or Britain did but there is no reason modernization couldn't have happened had the partitions not have happened. You make Poland sound sound like some Russia-tier backwater full of serfs or something.
