Im usually against pc masterrace faggot elitists but, since your single and probably have some decent ammount of money, have you considered a pc? I mean why would you get a console and good tv when you can get a computer that can do more and a monitor thats higher quality? Access to modern games, old games (emulator), no paid online, easier to use voice chat and play games with friends etc.
Only downside is you would miss out on god of war, bloodborne and nioh but nioh and BB can be replaced with Dark Souls. Also cod (if u like that) is shit on pc, most console ports are bad on PC (except for like battlefield)
