I've been meaning to check out some more albums by Scorn and found out about their industrial metal debut
It's pretty ugly so far, what's /memetal/'s opinion on this album?
I've never such riffage in my life.
starting to turn into a very solid Streetcleaner worship

probably my fav album by Scorn. Has some pretty great bangers like Lick Forever Dog and Heavy Blood always puts me in a trance. It does drag on a bit tho.
Evanescence and Gyral are great albums too if you are into electronic/dub/illbient whatever.
...
>tfw you listen to saint vitus

I'd definitely recommend listening to Despond if you're looking to get into their older stuff my dude.
Horizonless was a really nice change of pace for the releases I've been listening to this year.
>Durrfaust
You can't even hear *anything* on a Darkspace album.
Is the bass just super super low in the mix in a lot of metal?
youtube.com
explain to me why people think this is a good (or worse yet) influential band
...
cause girl I was made for you
and girl you were made for me
>Is the bass just super super low in the mix in a lot of metal?
particularly on that album, i remember reading digiorgio talk about how he was really unhappy with the final mix
listen to the bass on individual thought patterns
good banjo
I KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT HER
Welp there goes my hope of them ever producing anything like the living doorway ever again.

Why the hell is nuclear blast constantly using this annoying 360 DEGREE shit?

Would you listen to this album? Entirely based on David Berkowitz before and right after the Son of Sam murders.
only if its grind or power electronics
Cybergrind with strong influences of Impetigo, Macabre, Deceased, (Barnes era) Cannibal Corpse, and Disrupt. It's going to be sample-heavy, but the music itself done in Old School Deathgrind fashion.
yall niggas need some harsh noise tracks

he released an album other than biomech
i dont know, you tell me

The best bass sound is in bands where the bassist has creative control. Look at Sadus, Candlemass, or of course Maiden. Or the first Dodheimsgard record where Fenriz played bass; he probably ensured that his playing would be audible.
>me when I see an outcast loner nerd and I can hear metal playing out of his cheap apple earbuds
aaaaahhhh fucking freak hahaha
Post metal albums with classical guitar
every black metal and prog metal album ever
Jokes on you have audiophile equipment and refuse to listen to music outside on the rare cases I AM outisde

People i've met who talk about kiss know they died in the seventies. I just really like their s/t. As to why they're influential, because they came out in the fucking seventies
give me bolt thrower riffs with motorhead vocals
corpse paint before corpse paint was a thing
>As to why they're influential, because they came out in the fucking seventies
being from the 70s doesnt automatically make you influential
>All those tribute songs to Chris
Ok, then. It's because of Ace. Every guitarrist who grew up in the 80's was inspired by mr Frehley same way he was by Jimi Hendrix
This is a metal general, please refrain from posting non-metal.
>But, to finish my question, which music actually inspired you?
>Abaddon: Kiss, of course.
>Cronos: (Intoned with feeling) They were fucking insane! They had all these pyros and bombs and stuff blowing up. Amazing!
Glam worst meme 2017

>being one of the first people to make money playing metal when everyone else was still trying to copy led zeppelin
Son I am disappoint.
>tfw audiophile who only listens to BM and noise
whats the fastest method of suicide?
I dont believe that EVERY guitarist was inspired by Ace, but why exactly him when you got Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or even fuckin Motorhead with far superior guitarists? I would understand the Kiss influence if you literally did not know those other bands existed.
Dont you have some money to count Gene?
Whats the big fuzz with Pallbearer and why does the indie crowds love them so much?
>nu-males liking nu-male music
who would have thunk it
Space Ace is just so likeable.
a lot of it has to do with the album covers
they wouldn't like it with anything edgy on the cover
>metal
Why didn't anyone tell me that CoF actually released a decent album?
