Of course you can't because that's not what it's about. It's about inattainable goals. Life presenting you with opportunities you can never capitalize on despite your efforts. NEITHER of these songs are about self entitled "losers" (Unlike you right?), it's about someone who has very natural goals which they cannot achieve because of a kafkaesque reason. Both the people in Modern Dance and Final Solution are normal people in maddening situations; they're not at fault for their failure, society is.

I don't think of Pere Ubu as pathetic, viriginal music, but this could obviously encompass changes in the way people relate and are intimate, and seems too based on the specifics of the song. In any case, it's more analytical than someone going "waaahh, no one's fucking me." But at the same time, this is what a lot of (repectable) art and philosophy comes down to on some level
