Incredibly hypnotic, like a darker version of Robert Rich's Somnium, for if you wanna give yourself nightmares instead.

The mixing needs work, and your style is maybe a little too blackgaze for my tastes, but it sounds like you're pretty close, because the vocals and playing still sounded somewhat solid

Pale blue skies where I'm at, and your music is definitely quite fitting for this weather.

Don't know where to ask but this seems like a good place. How do I start making my own music? I can't play any instrument and don't know much about music theory, but I have a lot of passion and free time. Where should I start? Anything I should read? I don't know what kind of music I'd like to make since I enjoy many different genres, but I'm leaning towards shoegaze (since I love it) and videogame music (because it seems easier).

it's a solid beat and has good flow! i like songs when they get straight to the rapping though, and also fadeout is no bueno, but other than that a solid track.
i think you used samples for this, if you did they were good choices. desu i'm not a fan of lo-fi stuff but i think if you mixed low-fi and hi-fi it would be interesting. good stuff though
We Know Different People, good song title. it really picks up around 30 seconds, and that synth that comes in at around 1 minute is good.

it's a bit of an adjustment because the strings are different but you can jump from acoustic to electric pretty easily

yeah learning on acoustic will translate over to electric but they're still pretty different. try borrow a cheap electric off a friend or buy one and if you get an audio interface, you can use Ableton for any effect you can think of. scarlett 2i2 is a good entry level interface

Hey actual dubstep, cool! I listened to both your most recent tracks and i have p much the same likes and crtis.
+Sound design is there, everything sounds crisp, and drums hit as hard as they need to.
-Sometimes the levels can be uneven, and especially with dubstep you need to be careful things dont get TOO messy (imo). Around 1:40 in spring loaded was a rad buildup, but the drop after felt lacking? But i enjoy this kind of dubstep so good stuff man!
I ask this to all trap producers so dont worry, but what makes this song different than other trap songs? You have a kinda wacky (not bad) hi hat, distro af 808 bass kick, and halloweeny piano. This song is charming. I REALLY like that low attack synth near the end. It gets a little repetive but thats the genre, it sounds dope and the sound fidelity is all there.
