>People keep calling this the greatest Hip Hop album
>Finally hear
>It sounds like a shitty Bandcamp album
ITT: Times Sup Forums lied to you
How much 90's hip hop have you actually listened to?
It's good but I don't allow myself to like it because of the Nation of Islam shit
I don't know.
Most records like it are kinda lame. Weak, sparse beats with not much variation in flow. While the lyrics are I guess well done, who the fuck listens to music for words? Records like this fail to deliver on the rhythmic interplay and visceral energy that makes hip hop worth listening to.
wow you're cool, you cock sucking faggot
Show me any bandcamp shit that's as good as 4th Chamber

Dead meme
...
try only built 4 cuban linx
thats the best wu album
>le dead maymay! xD
Terrible. People say it's so good but it's like bland oatmeal. It's the dad rock of rap. All these old timers saying bring back rap. Mostly white kids going through their "I'm 13 and I listen" phase. It was good for the time but we got people like Migos and Future who are leading the movement. No one wants to listen to that Dr. Seuss shit anymore.
I actually don't like this but like 36 chambers
>mu
>knowing anything about rap
fuck this piece of shit and fuck Sup Forums for telling me it's good
This
>Sup Forums hates Neck Deep for some reason
>Listened to them
>Is fucking great
I don't trust on you since then
Overrated but good album
god-tier cover
shit-tier music tho
wtf is this, I mean, I dont dislike it, but what is it?
damn shame
No. Sup Forums was right. And you were wrong. Chode.
What is Memphis rap?
shoegaze
lol migos
sorry you can't accept the truth, user
it was good in 2006 when it came out. i can't explain what myspace and scene culture was like at the time but brand new stood apart.
>Liking the NOI
I bet you want to be culturally enriched by them
when the fuck did I say I liked the NOI
faggot
>Times Sup Forums lied to you
You know this album is universally acclaimed, right?
When you rejected this user's reasoning for disliking liquid swords
he said he was forcing himself to dislike it idiot
a masterpiece
If you want to take his wording THAT literally, fine, but I doubt that's what he meant. He was saying that he can't get into it due to objectionable politics.
>I don't allow myself to like it
seriously dude
What is honestly the more plausible interpretation of that statement;
>I purposefully and forcefully stop myself from liking something I otherwise enjoy
or
>My feelings about the nation of islam interfere with my enjoyment of this album
I'll lock in B for $100 thanks, final answer.
you'd be wrong though. it's clearly a bait post.
>mfw the vinyl version of liquid swords doesn't include the final track BIBLE, the main offender for the islam shilling, and the black sheep of the album tonally
Vinyl proved the superior format once again!
it's a bonus track though
BIBLE is the best track you fucking backpacker.
>BIBLE is the best track
it kinda is
>he thinks the nation of islam is the same as the 5%
>he thinks either is bad
If you don't like B.I.B.L.E. you are the biggest pleb on earth
this has to be bait
That's exactly what this album does better than anything else. Listen to it again.
Bible is great. I don't see why anyone would hate it.
Duel of the Iron Mic, Living in the World Today, 4th Chamber, Labels, Swordsman, I Gotcha Back and B.I.B.L.E. are all amazingly strong tracks. Hells Wind Staff/ Killah Hills 10304 would be way higher if it didn't have the skit at the start about Don Rodriguez being a snitch.
Are you Norwegian or something?
