Food stereotypes in Europe

What are some food stereotypes from European countries?

Brezel, sausage, sauerkraut ,beer, schnitzel and Döner for Germany.

I heard that Swedes like the surströming

doner is pretty good
bretzel and sausage are boring

meatballs
surströmming
other fish
SMORE-GOOSE-BOARD as the americans like to say
idk desu

Russia is not a european country.

iceland = Svið (Singed and boiled Sheep Head)

I would add horse in Switzerland and gulash in Hungary

France:croissant, baguette, escargots or frog legs
Netherlands: Cheese
Belgium: Waffle or chocolate
Switzerland: chocolate or fondiu

After visiting Netherlands I got the feeling that hamd and cheese sandwich is their national food

>UK
>not chicken tikka masala

do whatever you want

Greece: feta cheese, gyros

Italy: pasta, pizza, lasagna, truffels

Serbia: chevapi

Italy: pizza, pasta, spaghetti
Britain: tea, crumpets
Germany: fecal matter
Poland: kielbasa, pirogi
France: snails, frogs, croissants
Russia: nothing
Belgium: waffles

Rusia: vodka with pickles or borscht soup

borsh, vodka

Don't expect people to call you turnip eating drunks anything special like "Eurasian".

...

Cheese sandwiches are the most eaten breakfast and lunch in the country.

Ghastly.

Replace with pinnekjǿtt, you nignog.

NOT REAL PAELLA

we are talking about food stereotypes so
Norway: Salmon or Smalahove

Britain: Beans and Toast
Germany: Sauerkraut
France: Snails
Italy: Pasta
Spain: Tacos
Poland: Pirogi
Russia: Borsch
Austria: Schnitzel
Hungary: Goulash
Serbia: Burger
Greece: Olives and Cheese
Turkey: Kebab
Israel: Falafel
Africa: KEK

>Schnitzel
we call it escalope

Ground earthen apples and cream from BY
Not european, but still

Is this accurate?

It's a stereotype that French food is good. I mean, it's alright, but definitely overrated as fuck. It's just peasant food tbqh.

>Russia
How are you not familiar with blinis?
Kot blini for fucks sake.

dry as old bones

Peasant food it's god tier, what are you talking about.

Kyss mig i röven :^)

Britain = toast sandwich

No, we use a lot more potatoes than tomatoes here.

Spain uses a fuckton of tomato and garlic, though.

Which is why all their food is either yellow or red, like their flag.

It is this side of the Rhine.

Peasant food is shit in places without sun.

See . Fuck those are all depressing.

>Austria
Schnitzel
>Hungary
Goulash
>Switzerland
Chocolate

Add Borscht for Russia

We spaniards brought both to the new world anyway, you are welcome fags.

We use a shit tone of potatoes. From tortilla to most stews

Sure, but you guys use a lot of tomato sauce that we generally don't.

The potatoes is about the same, I'd say, since we also eat tortilha.

ain't that the same as pancakes?

>since we also eat tortilha
I didn't know that

Probably not as much as Spain, but we do eat it sometimes.

Ours is a bit different, though, we use mushrooms and sweet corn and ham and egg and potatoes. Spanish tortilla is traditionally only with onion, isn't it?

Where we eat the most potatoes is just as a side, I guess. We eat a lot of fish, and fish is almost always served with potatoes cooked in some way.

isnt it skyr for iceland ?

Nikita, what is the point of posting this bullshit in every other thread?

>tfw like 3/4 of photos in the wikipedia page about sasuage are with Polish kiełbasa

>Sure, but you guys use a lot of tomato sauce that we generally don't.

That would be Italians. Paella uses saffron, gazpacho uses tomatoes, but beyond that I wouldn't say our cuisine is particularly yellow or red.

Vice versa

Peru gave them to the world

Don't forget Germanys delicious currywurst

bacalhau

pastéis de nata
