Why did'nt the British split India properly?
Why did'nt the British split India properly?
...
>why didn't the brits drawn a single decent border in all their colonies?
fixed
For now India stays united because most of the people are poor and can't afford to move between states. Also they are uneducated.Wait until transport and education becomes better.People will realize how different their cultures and this will lead to a bloody civil war and divide the whole of India, this time bloodier.
I approve of this
Jaya Bharata!
That Nepal would be the ultimate bufferstate.
Or you just autonomise more and more and do a reverse EU.
And turn it into another EU?
Also Maratha and Orrisa would also serve as buffer states. Its probable Bharat and Dravida Nadu will be the two main regional powers in South Asia.
Btw. I was often wondering about this. We have migratory shifts here and moan a lot about it but in asia the same goes on in a lot of places without much notice.
Is immigration between indian substates already a reason of rallys and complaint in a few regions?
Basically, would be the softer alternative to the civil war if it is indeed that tense.
Your maps are too sane.
...
>Europeans in charge of drawing international borders that won't cause problems in the future
Why does the Pakistan map says "part of Sindh" when the india map doesn't even have Sindh?
>Is immigration between indian substates already a reason of rallys and complaint in a few regions?
Yes.Just go to reddit india and see people (from cities near coastal regions) complaining about migration from central India.
Oh I forgot. The upper part of the V shaped land in West used to be part of Sindhustan
Not really.Gujurati and Marathis are more similar to North than South.
I mean upper part of Gujurat
Why don't you?
How can I?I am just a normal pajeet wagecuck.
Why, what kind of people are Central Indians and why are they complained about? Is it religion, ethnicity, something else?
They speak Hindi. They also assume that Hindi is the national language of India and everyone should learn to speak it.
Also they dirty. If you check the OD map of India you will notice that most of the open defecators are focused in the central area(these people also represent about 50% of India) while most of the south western states have improved access to toilets.
Only reason they are tolerated is because they agree to work for extremely low rates compared to South westerners most of whom prefer a white collar job.
I see. Are these people from Uttar Pradesh and the surrounding provinces?
Yes.That region is called the hindi belt.
Also I think its justified that Sindh be part of Bharat/Hindustan.If you observe maps before the British you will see that most of the North and western regions had long history of unification before the british only that it was done usually by outsiders(Marathas,Turks and Afghanis)
Uttar pradesh are irani tier people but they are fucking monkies. A girl will experiance harassment in the north india part only, souths are educated bro tier people and are more developed infrastructure wise
May be India look like this if Islam and Brits didn't existed on this planet.
Doubtful country called dravida nadu would exist but I think much of the rest is pretty accurate
Also it was Islam and British that unified much of the central region , before that they were all a bunch of various kingdoms.
Because they wanted the individual ethnic groups divided, it made (and makes) them easier to control.
Not really, it would look more like this
OIf every 'nation state' was given a country, it would look like this(And that's just India)
is there any sort of threat of India Balkanising or regions seceding, apart from Kashmir? Any lesser known separatists?
India always seemed remarkably stable to me, all things considered.
Indian shitskins will always be an idolatrous race of inferior dirty monkeys who will never know how to poo in loo and continue to worship rocks and statues
There might be mixed telugu-kannada state in South. Probably no dravida Nadu. The rest is pretty accurate. 70 years gone but no invasion/migration from Northwest. I think this is rare in India's history.
REUNITE THE RAJ
I bet the tiny Portuguese colony has more people than Portugal itself.
Nothing really. Nothing serious for now. The Naga secession movement and Maoist insurgency used to be high. First one was solved by giving the state more autonomy. The second one is losing funds.
Although you can still see many online city dwellers complaining about migration, etc... and telling how better it would be if their state was a separate country. However they are more a vocal minority. India is the second most patriotic/nationalist country for a reason.
Because they were bankrupted by WWII so didn't have the money to extend their rule to have time to work on better partion. That and Nehru.
Pretty close to my map
BTW this is my map
