David Bowie

What is your favorite album user of him. listing to this one now, pretty good so far

Low and Heroes are probably his best but my personal favorite is Ziggy

I like the comp with all the David Jones stuff on it.

Op here. The begging songs of ziggy are god like in my opinion then after you listin to the others songs it seems like the quality drops. Anyway I do agree that heroes is also a good album can't get into his disco albums or whatever genre their called.

Ziggy and Hunky Dory

Well yes, the quality drops a little but Suffragette City is god tier and Rock n Roll Suicide is probably the best on the album.

I can never really pic a single favourite, it's a big tie between
Hunky Dory
Aladin Sane
Low
"Heroes"
Scary Monsters

Blackstar no lie

I feel like after it ain't easy and lady stardust the album seems to calm down which kind of sucks but still a great album with moonage daydream and Starman. Those are probably some of my favorites from the album

Diamond Dogs, Ziggy, and Station to Station are all better than Aladdin Sane

Haven't listened to it to be honest is it good or just a "muh rip david bowie"

Bump

Oh I forgot about Station to Station completely, add that to the list.
Aladdin Sane is better than Ziggy and DD though
>Rock And Roll With ME comes on shuffle
hey it looks like chance just proved my point, what a shit song

>best
Station to Station
>worst
idk probably his debut
>overrated
heroes
>underrated
next day extra EP

Glam era Bowie is objectively the best. If you say anything from the Berlin trilogy you're a pseud.

Aladdin Sane is a little too bland for me (with the exception of Lady Grinning Soul and Time, those two are brilliant). Diamond Dogs on the other hand is anything but bland, it has a story, a variety of different songs, and an undeniable charm. Ziggy is just a true emotional roller coaster.

>bland
Drive-in Saturday and the title track are more interesting than anything on Ziggy Stardust imo, which I still obviously like a lot
Diamond Dogs has some great tracks, but R&W With Me I can't stand, and We Are The Dead I don't think is great either. I will say that the back half of DD has grown on me a lot recently, but I still think there's a definite dip in quality

His work just got better and better on time, thats why for me its, in order:
Outside
Earthling
Blackstar
Reality
Lets Dance
Heathen

>best
Heroes
>runner-up
Station to Station
>overrated
Aladdin Sane and Scary Monsters
>underrated
Lodger

Blackstar is literally his best album.

>Best from 70s
Diamond Dogs
>Best from late-career
Heathen
>Worst
Never Let Me Down
>Overrated
Heroes
>Underrated
Black Tie White Noise

1. "Heroes"
2. Low
3. Aladdin Sane
4. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
5. Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)

I really, REALLY like Lazarus and Blackstar.
The rest songs, meh.
But its worth listening to

Low.

Fantastic album, but not his best

1. Ziggy
2. Station to Station
3. The Man Who Sold the World
4. Diamond Dogs
5. Low

1. Low
2. Ziggy Stardust
3. Station to Station
4. Heroes

Those are the solid four for me. Also up there are Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Scary Monsters, Lodger, and Blackstar

I've listened to all albums of DB and my favorite is Scary Monsters followed by Never Let Me Downs. Favorite song would be Without You.
The worst albums are quite possible Hours..., Heathen and Reality.
