THC, as well as most triptamines like LSD and DMT, don't cross the placental barrier. LSD was actually intended as a cramp reduction medication for pregnant women, but the side effects were way more intense than expected (somewhat ironically, it actually reduces pregnancy related uterine pain).

Anything small and lipophillic enough to properly penetrate the brain (by crossing the blood-brain barrier) will likely also cross the placenta.
Also LSD wasn't intended for "cramp reduction", it was a chance discovery during Hoffman's experiments with ergot alkaloids for postpartum bleeding (heavy bleeding immediately following childbirth).
