I think the reason why we don't have that a word for 'manlet' in Swedish is because the population here is, and has, in a historic perspective, been alot more homogenous, than in e.g. the US. The average height is thus more broader here, even thought there have been alot of immigrants coming here lately from short countries, like those Arab countries where average height for men is under 175 cm/5'9.
