I only started watching soccer about 2 to 3 years ago. And only real watch the big games as they are on tv here in leaf land. Googling ronaldo shows me that he is a goal scoring machine. But I can only remember him scoring once while I was watching.. Which was in last year's champions league final.
So wtf gives? How does he have so many goals?

His last good performances were against Wolfsburg when he scored a Hat-Trick while his team was needing it to advance and in Euro groups against Hungary.

I've watched maybe 20 relationship Madrid games. He's scored once in those 20. Which just doesn't make sense. Since his gold to game ratio is much better.

Ronaldo has an average of more than 1 goal per match.
He has 16 goals against Barcelona and 20 against Atletico since arriving in Madrid, it's not like he can't score against top teams.
