+DG. the hotelier, the beach boys

You're healthy and have a select group of friends you see every now and then.

>and i guess that you just finished your second year at university

Nope. :( I've been putting off school for a few years now. I probably should go soon huh?

+++Ween, dg, captain beefheart, iron maiden, tom waits, etc etc.

You have one more year left until you're finished with school

>18, m, still Iives with parents
I'm 20 but yea

planning to move house

feeling pretty comfy lately
btw is the new twice good

started falling behind at school/university but you'll catch up

haha I'm actually only 19 and I work at a fucking pizza place. my life can't possibly get any lamer.

good rec btw, checking out more of their stuff as we speak

Living a day after another

that's kinda cool haha, you'll probably look back fondly on this time of life. my first real job was at mcdonald's when i was 21 and it kinda sucked but it's funny to look back on

just consider me a prophet re: cool job at 25 :^) glad you like valient thorr, they're a lot of fun

hi pop
we /brown/
i dont know your stuff sorry

++The Birthday Massacre
on the cusp of changing for the better :)

feeling better than usual

...

>I probably should go soon huh?
you'd probably get mixed advice on this but mine is to just go when you're ready, no need to invest that much time and money into something you're not super-interested in. but i enjoyed it a lot and depending on what you want to do it could be very good, so put some serious thought into what you wanna do and if school is what you need to do it

sorry to sound preachy, i just know i sorta waltzed into school without thinking about it and a lot of people get fucked over doing that without a plan

is this my friend the Gain/BEG recommender lol
i'm relatively comfy lately
new Twice is actually not too bad, the single is the worst track on the release, no joke

my groin muscle tear appart Y.Y

yeah pretty much right now

hey

i feel happy and motivated to do something but idk what

i have recced gain and beg to one or two anons so maybe

i did listen to the single and wasn't impressed, glad to hear that it's the worst on the albbum

+ kavinsky, submarine, lazerhawk
++ all the classical stuff
+weeknd, the cure

Fairly happy and secure

no thats me again hi

>new twice
its so solid i can't even believe it
new loonas pretty damn good too

oh lol heyo, nice chart as always

admittedly i've never gotten into Girls Generation, is there a good starting point?

and yeah Twice's singles are usually the only stuff i like from them but this time the whole release is pretty good. i never thought i'd come to like them lol

Blackalicious-Broken Arrow

snsd is a bit annoying to get into because they don't really have completely solid albums like fx or beg, lots of snoozy ballads that i can only recommend if you really love taeyeons voice

their most solid album imo is love & peace, but that's japanese so idk if that bugs you

as far as korean albums go, igab and lion heart are their most consistent, but there are plenty of singles and b sides all throughout their discography that are amazing, just embedded within all the fluff
eg

Lazy post incoming

Cunt

Bump

i got into j-pop before k-pop so japanese don't bother me, i'll check that out and browse around those albums, thanks! they're huge so i figure i ought to see what they're about

yeah that's one thing about pop that can be lame- it's often more song-oriented so you don't get great full albums : (

bump

bent knee fuck yeah

each time I post in these thread I wanna beat the shit out of you

Rec me good post-punk albums
Chairs Missing is growing on me but I still havent found anything recently that I really love

>Unwound
>Pinegrove
Nice
Maybe Polvo - Today's Active Lifestyles
Boy Rex might also kinda fill the same acoustic emo niche as Cardinal

Listen to cLOUDDEAD obviously
JPEGMAFIA - Black Ben Carson

Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Press Color

some1 died in your life recently

astronauts - peter pan hits the suburbs

their best stuff might as well be fx songs, but generally they have a different flavor, a bit more sass in the vocals and usually less quirky all around

there are enough good solid full albums for me in kpop, it's just sort of annoying that efficiently recommending stuff from snsd, who probably have one of the better discographies, basically boils down to a huge list of songs

This is for the last month

I do rec it a lot so that could've been me. I'm glad you like it and that you have a radio show that can play stuff like that. I'm assuming it's a university radio?
