And acid mothers temple as a collective has a pretty intimidating discography, my personal favourite is as shown of course anthem of space, and it's reasonably accessible. Maybe start with it and then if you like it check La Novia

I get this reaction a lot and I always wonder which albums in particular elicit this response.
from what I've seen (been here a year), most of Sup Forums seems to like Emotion, Alvvays, Art Angels, and OK Computer
I see polarizing reactions to AI, xx, and Lana.

It's Troye Sivan, Lana Del Ray, The XX, and American Idiot. I also hate art angels, though it seems to fit with your taste, and then OK Computer feels like it's just some random Sup Forumscore album thrown in there.
You are very much a modern pop music listener, which is something I cannot really get down with. Except Emotion, cuz that shit is great

XX are pretty good desu. But jamie x and his discography are imo alot better much more character and good vibes

I'll start with RB and check the rest out, I know Uneven Compromise though, it's very good.
It was tricky for me to decide between Among My swan and Tonight that I Might See as well, flowers in december and look on down from the bridge just slightly put Among My Swan higher up for me.

It would definitely make more sense in a bigger chart, since I like Kid A and a decent amount of Sup Forumscore in addition to my pop favorites.
But yeah, I am a modern pop listener. I like Emotion a lot, but I honestly don't see how it's much different than stuff that e.g. Taylor Swift or Katy Perry releases.
Tried getting into Jamie, only liked Loud Places, which is pretty much an xx song
not really into kpop, but I like a couple of their songs

the two are 100% interchangeable
but i'm enjoying Of Ruine more these days

it's my mother's all-time favourite PT, she loves the grooves
it's the most accomplished early PT yeah, it's got the coherent of Steven's songwriting mixed with the krauty grooves, good shit

I don't even think I've gotten around to listening ot Of Ruine, the C93 discog I downloaded wasn't all tagged right so I prioritized listening to the already tagged files out of sheer laziness
