Well I've done a lot with my career but it's honestly probably quitting alcohol and not killing myself.

I programmed a multi functional content management system for small websites I call it magi

getting off drugs and alcohol. hardest most life changing thing I've done.

That'll come back. I'm a storyboard artist and I quit wanting to draw for a long time. For me the solution was to take up and schedule a variety of new hobbies that made me go out and have new experiences. The muse comes back and you fill the space between you and the bad event.
Just my opinion though.
