AOTDSF?

AOTDSF?

to be kind

no

2nd to mbdtf

...

Thats not mbdtf

It's either Crack-Up or Age Of Adz. Blonde is a bit further down the list tbqh.

I think this is a very good decade for music after the fall off of the 2000's

the latest stuff he's been putting out on the downlow shows how much potential he has

2000's had better music than the 2010's. Anco, Radiohead, Interpol, Sufjan, Sweet Trip, the list goes on....

I'm not saying there wasn't great music in the 00s, just underwhelming after the 90's and before the 10s. Radiohead is great, but they still made two of their greatest albums in the 90's. Anco is great but not enough to be better than other decades and still show they have potential to make an amazing album this decade. Sufjans great but his best album was in the 10s.

Yeah it's a well known fact

oh boy am I going to be made fun of for this

not quite but it's not far off either.
in the end i think TPAB is going to get every single 2010's accolade you could ever have imagined

I think a DG album should be considered. I'd personally say the whole TPTB.

yes

Either pic related or:
>Good Kid, m.A.A.d city
>Atrocity Exhibition
>Ravedeath, 1972

if we include live albums I'd have to include LCD Soundsystem's The Long Goodbye as well.

...

pretentious arrogance neo-black-gay-2017-edginess with no actual 7/10 at best not AOTD. "style" can only take you so far and i feel like frank didnt put enough substance into blonde warrant how artsy it was.
Channel Orange, ok maybe
stop
>TPAB
likely
good but irrelevant
likely
are you retarded?
again it's good but is this really what comes to mind when you hear the term "album of the DECADE?"

MPP came out in 2009

you're such a fucking pleb it's disgusting

yeah i realized bitched out and deleted my post.

fucking retarded cunt. your opinion is worthless.

That makes it worse.
So no- Anco did fuck all int he 2010s. They're not gonna win any awards with Painting With.

yeah, probably

Yes. This my favorite album of all time fuck you all.

you're right. at least it's mu and im anonymous and i can accept my defeat willingly right
im sorry lol i didnt mean for this to happen
My opinion's bad lol. Im gonna go kill myself. :)

>criticizes others on their choice of potential aotd
>posts DAMN.

>posting DAMN unironically
>calling Blonde arrogant with not enough substance
I guess I'm the idiot falling for the bait

You dont listen to much music, do you

im on acid lol shut up
it wasnt even bait holy shit am i actually that pathetic of a person?

What is your favorite album of all time? Of the last 5 years?

pretending damn has substance while blond doesn't baka

You dont listen to much music, do you

>this thread

I do love this album but the back half has some duds in it.

White Ferrari - Futura Free change my life bruh

I wish I liked them nearly as much as you do, but unfortunately they don't do much for me, especially Futura Free, everything after White Ferrari really.

I really think every song was done perfectly in the context of the album. I don't really listen to the album as song to song. Pretty Sweet, Seigfried, Futura Free are some of my favorite parts on the album.

I here what you're saying and I tend to think off albums in chunks as well, but the last part of the album really loses me.

Ebin m8

*takes acid once*
>The markings on your surface
*looks up thesaurus*
>Your speckled face
*aw shiet what's another term for earrings*
>Flawed crystals hang from your ears
>I couldn't gauge your fears
*brainlets btfo*
>I can't relate to my peers
*i was Jesus n shiet*
>I'd rather live outside
*kendrick taught me to be humble n shiet*
>I'd rather chip my pride than lose my mind out here
>Maybe I'm a fool
>Maybe I should move
*im still gay though*
>And settle, two kids and a swimming pool
*dude poetry lmao*
>I'm not brave (brave)
>I'm not brave

a very tired pasta

>it's the same guy posting the same corny pasta in every Frank-related thread

you could do this with literally everything

you could literally take a passage from an Alan Watts book and say something along these lines.

>Blonde
>patrician

bump. tell me your aotd

literally how

>Ravedeath, 1972
good taste, love that album

...

I don't see how the albums pretentious at all, and/or lacks substance.

meanwhile your implying DAMN isn't both of those things

...

I liked your opinion :)

It's this if we're not counting classical recordings of older pieces released this decade

definitely this

Maybe
Fuck off!

agreed

this

post good shit from 17

10s is underwhelming too, not sure what to make of it in comparison to the 00s though

>thinks Death Grips are a meme and discounts them because of that
>fucking likes Kendrik Lamar
go the fuck home

A Crow Looked At Me is underwhelming, the human aspect in the lyrics is great but that's all it has, there's nothing captivating about anything else. It's a very one-note album and goes in one ear and out the other

yeah I actually agree, I'll replace it something else as soon as I find something great

No question about it to me, it's Blond(e).

Why are rock bands so fucking shitty now? The last band I remember doing anything interesting or fresh is Swans or maybe a few black metal projects. I asked Sup Forums who the hot rock band is and the response was King Gizzard, another fucking glorified tribute act playing music superior artists already mastered decades ago and doing nothing original.

I agree, that said the potential of rock imo outweighs other genres save for maybe more daring "electronic" acts (for lack of knowledge of a better term).

its still Have One On Me

Pleb detected

I would sincerely love to be proven wrong. Post examples that prove me wrong.

there aren't really any bands doing anything "new" so to speak. i think deafheaven is the closest thing to having something new when you take the sonic elements and the guitar technique into account

i think the obvious path for rock music is basically to be more and more shoegaze. my band is going to be "grungegaze" and hopefully we sell billions

>1967 - Velvet Underground
>1985 - Jesus and Mary Chain
>1989 - Galaxie 500
>1991 - My Bloody Valentine
>2013 - Deafheaven

That's just about all there is. I'm no sure what other interesting or original direction shoegaze is gonna go. You're just talking about being derivative.

you really only have to change one thing about your songwriting process to be "new", and i intend to start small when it comes to trying to be experimental

Seems like you haven't listened to this masterpiece.

All of these albums are 8+ DAMN. is almost a 7.5
what is the last album called?

children should stop posting on Sup Forums

Judas Hung Himself in America

i have, i just don't think it was very good

You're right about rock, but you need to get out more if Blonde is the album of the decade for you

Then what is?

actually terrible taste

Kendrick used inspiration from blonde to make DAMN. lol, YAH was created right after they all listened to blonde because it inspired them

Come on, any inspiration from Blond(e) was surface level at best.

Blond(e) is Marvin Gaye meets ambient Eno. DAMN is Tupac meets Eminem meets Outkast just like Kendrick has always been outside of the jazz diversions.

Hold My Liquor, On Sight, Guilt Trip, and Bound 2 are trash.

But user, Sufjan's two best releases were both in 2010.

frank ocean peaked in 2012

yeah kys

he never left the peak

...

Three best releases
