I'm really dissatisfied with my life and I truly, honestly don't know how to fix it
Maybe just wanting to be a better person is just too nebulous a goal
I feel you. I wish I had some advice to you, but I really don't.
So check out Amusement Parks on Fire and Times New Viking if you haven't yet.
u r fine
What do you think is mostly missing in your life? What would it take to be happy?
Graveyard Productions - The Havoc
Planning for Burial - Leaving
Woods of Desolation - As the Stars
golden palominos is the most 7/10 album i've ever heard
beach fossils - s/t
i think my dad would like your chart
I feel the same way
21CB is very underrated
NEW TOP 100 !!!!!! EXCITING !!!!!!!
set some freaking goals dude, it could be anything
both long term and short term
wanting to be a better person is too broad, you need to attack that one differently
truly think about what is upsetting you most about yourself, the single key issue
if you're having trouble finding the key issue then you need to do some soul searching to understand yourself more
this is lacking kpop, sky ferreira, and tegan and sara
well
you are eternally satisfied with this singular mood portrayed through your chart
I find that admirable, but also kinda boring
you sure are saying a lot
your best is always enough :)
people care about you
people miss you and enjoy talking to you
being the better person is one of the few things in the world we have control over to make it a better place
our thoughts and feelings are ours to control
always be an optimist unless it conflicts with responsibility
damn television is the only thing i know on your chart
i'll put some stuff in my backlog i guess
glenn branca - the ascension
olivia tremor control - black foilage (can't rec this enough if you love beach boys)
women - public strain
simon finn - pass the distance
bunkbed - nothing ever lasts
how much of orchid tapes/run for cover/those kind of labels have you explored?
here's some bedroom pop bands you might like if you're not super into it
florist
pill friends
spencer radcliffe
salvia palth (not sam ray-related)
crying
infinity crush (caroline from julia brown)
mlc and his projects (elvis depressedly, coma cinema, ect)
various artists - no new york (no wave compilation from the 80s, includes some contortions)
drive-by truckers - american band (deceptively-critical of america alt-country album)
jay munly - jimmy carter syndrome
will do more recs soon
you sure are saying nothing
...
The Olivia Tremor Control – Dusk at Cubist Castle
John Fahey - Blind Joe Death
start small friend
Julien Baker - Sprained Ankle
Church Point, LA - This Song Is A Mess But So Am I
all these recs are shit, i'm sorry
boku no tripfag should sue you desu
3x3 chart, last 7 days, "should i send an apology letter to my ex?" edition
jane siberry - the walking
if you still think about the situation a lot i think thats a good idea
coming back into contact with people i've left off with on bad terms and apologizing has helped me a lot, even if just on a subconscious level
Unconventional, but I'd check out
>head hunters - herbie hancock
And
>Mothership connection - Parliament
robert ashley and lulu?
I just feel like it'd give closure for the both of us. We didn't leave on bad terms but if i can make peace with that it would maybe help me be more comfortable moving on to something else?
...
jk its actually this
thank you i like that
excuse me
Clean your room, no one can hope to have a clear mind when their surroundings are such a mess. Take responsibility for the hand you have been dealt and move forward with your life. Use the fear of failure and turn it around so the fair of doing nothing motivates you to change your life. Think about where you life may end up in 5 years time if you carry on this road you are on, and realise that you will be in chaos, your own personal version of hell.
Slay the dragon of chaos, save your father, be the archetypical hero you are meant to be.

8 UNTIL I SAW FUCKING 21 CENTURY PENIS OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then it became a 9?
recs would be very appreciated
recently started listening to RJD2 and was liking it
I like shoegaze-y things but not so much the like, original staples of the genre
I have been struggling to find anything that I've really gotten super into for a while now
I listened to some of "A Place to Bury Strangers" and I really like the production, but the lyrics can be kinda cringey and lame
I also liked Sunbather but idk. For a while I was listening to tons of stuff that was either (to me) fast paced and very noisey or stuff that was just straight up ambient slow stuff
I have a hard time balancing the two. Chill electronic beat stuff is kinda my go-to for summer music and for stuff to play around friends (not listed on this chart are J-Dilla and Nujabes, but I really like some of their stuff)
I like some of Talk Talk's stuff but I never feel in the mood to listen to it nowadays
Boards of Canada are interesting but I don't have the patience for them lately. Same with Juliana Barwick
I REALLY liked Sarah Neufeld's solo album and her collab with Colin Stetson, but I haven't been in the mood for those either lately
thanks guy i dont know :-)
Julia Brown - to be close to you
Xela & Jefre Cantu Ledesma - Love is a Dream
Boards of Canada - Hi Scores EP
Eneferens - The Inward Cold

>I like shoegaze-y things but not so much the like, original staples of the genre
this is your problem
listen to nadja, axolotl, grey daturas, ajilvsga, pete swanson's solo stuff. and stop listening to ajj and ska if you know what's good for you
just kidding buddy kind of
EVERYONE tell me how your life is going
THANKS AGAIN
WILL I BE SO LUCKY AS TO GET MORE????????
