While I agree that Let It Be it's on the "albums only pretentious faggots hate" tier, Abbey Road is a much better effort. Let It Be was screwed by being pretty much a Paul thing.

Abbey Road has songs that seem a little... out of touch with the rest of the album, like Maxwell and even Oh Darling. The songs of Let It Be seem perfectly connected with each other

It has songs influenced by Eastern sounds and psychadellia (Across the Universe), folky ballads (Two Of Us), pure hard rock songs (I've Got a Feeling), symphonic masterpieces (The Long And Winding Road, Yes, the Phil Spector version is a masterpiece, Paul is just a butthurt cunt), soft happy tunes with a touch of blues (For You Blue) and even some sounds that bring back the Beatles earlier days (Maggie May). And all of that variety connected makes sense and makes a perfect album

if you want variety then The White Album is the obvious pick here, no? you can say there are a few duds but the five best tracks on that record destroy everything on Let it Be.

There are about five best tracks on The White Album that are much better than Let It Be, yes. But having about one tenth of excellent tracks is not what makes an album excellent. Is the way those tracks are connected to each other, the way the album sounds good just by having those tracks in that order. And in that aspect Let It Be beats The White Album

honestly the fact that The White Album is listenable at all considering how fragmented the recording process was is a tribute to it's tracklisting
