“There’s a youthfulness in those ringing guitars, aware that the carefree nature of childhood is fleeting yet unwilling to let the weight of the world crush its spirit completely.” – Consequence of Sound
i like your tracks bro. among jup is a little repetitive but it is very atmospheric so thats ok definitely a unique heavy sound. i like the effect you put on the vocals its super effective
so good. like indie, goth, surf rock check this shit out!
this is really nice. super relaxing. only idea I would have is too bring out the little kicks and the panned sounds a little more in the processing. or cut out a space for them with an eq. because they seem to get lost a little in the huge main pad. good stuff though.
>ddx-10.bandcamp.com something about this gives me that same intrigued exciting feel vaporwave used to give me back in the day looking froward to diving into this
good amount of variety in between tracks so hopefully you can find something you like. also, i have a chill & jazzy album on the way that will be a lot more clean and consistent (in terms of variety since usually my projects are all over the place).
>electronica >lofi house >synthpop >analog >step sequencers and drum machines
Will keep posting tracks in the future, looking for feedback, love/hate/criticism
Reccs: obligatory lofi beats are all over the place but i really enjoyed this

posted this track earlier today.. alternative rap with thoughtful lyrics. the final track of my second tape. this one is more chill/somber than the rest.

Was a rapper in high school but I ended up dropping it. Realized I have no hobbies besides video games and decided to get into it again.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a mic? I don't want something crazy expensive. Under 300. One of my friends has Fruity Loops and I'm familiar using Audacity. Just wanna get back into the game.
Yeah I got one track... it's pretty shitty though. This is when I first started rapping and I pretty much freestyle this. Wish I could show you a newer track. My flow and lyrics have improved so much since then.
You should have heard some of the tracks I deleted. Insanely bad. But yeah even though I gave up on rapping awhile ago I still practiced my flow all the time. My lyrics have gotten better and most people who hear me in real life love it. My friends and I are getting pretty serious about making music again though so I'll be posting tracks in the near future.
2lakes2memes.bandcamp.com/album/haunted-house >crappy comedy experimental duo >one member is an experienced musician, other member has no musical talent >Anthony Fantano talked about one of our albums
>dream pop, hypnagogic, electronic, ambient i'm usually good at returning feedback
....it's music i love this -- these textures work really well i'd love to hear a downtempo version of this sort of stuff too idk if you read what i wrote in the last thread but you're definitely one of the more talented SC rappers right now i'd love to produce you a beat or something it's all over the place which i guess is good? i dont get it but keep doing what youre doing i guess

Damn your stuff is tight dude

Maybe it needs something to make contrast to the main theme, great track overall, gave me a happy chilhood feeling.
It's not me but he posts underground stoner metal albums so fast I'm not certain he isn't a time traveler. Some of it isn't very good, but there are some serious fucking gems in there.
wattersonjams.bandcamp.com/album/feel-good-forever >shoegaze with a 90s emo twist and loads of other influences >songs about loss and abuse >ffo: my bloody valentine, sore eyelids, kairon; irse! >free as fuck so give it a download
Feedback: Like your description a whole lot more than the actual execution, got me excited. Seems like a lazy jam session with the classic reverb in shoegaze but no real direction and poor timing. If you did put a bunch of effort into it, I'm sorry for getting that wrong, but this is rough.
Pretty cookie cutter as dream pop goes desu, but keep cutting that cookie if it's what you're into. Corny lyrics and nice jangly instrumentation, sweet melodies, just doesn't do a single thing to make me want to listen to it over other dream pop outfits doing stuff right now I guess.
Like, it's not bad. Just content to not be memorable for anything.
Almost the exact opposite critique. The guitar riff at the beginning of this song is fantastic and the song surprised me several times. This is fun as hell and one of the better standalone songs I've heard on here in a while. The singing isn't necessarily great, but it has this blunt standoffishness I really dig. Listened through your old stuff and it wasn't quite as good but I'm real excited for new material.
Thought Partition was failing to buffer at first but it grew on me quick. Still think it ought to coalesce sooner, and actually build on itself, it feels like the two sections are totally different songs.
And having three tracks named Partition instead of I, II, III or something is tacky.
Ah wait, this is the "Screenshot" series stuff. Yeah, I think it's just not something I'll be into. My b.
>I fuck with this mad hard yo good work, love the hook
jammin, great energy
could bump to this in a club or sumn

soundcloud.com/30dollarbill/rufff Idk how I feel about this song. Like I'm pretty sure I think its good just because I've listened to it a thousand times myself. Thoughts?
pretty cool, i really like it only thing i could say is that it's kind of repetitive but it has a nice feel to it, good work
not all too bad, i like some of the bassline in it but i'd say work on those melodies, they're important and try to spice up the drum track some it's house and dance, but glitch should warrant for more aggressive drums just make the whole thing more in your face, it needs to have something to make it stand out, imo keep at it, my friend
i dig those vibes immensely its rustic, yet tranquil good shit my man
its pretty good, the instrumentation is very well done
I like this, mix is very clear, nice textures & and goos use of dynamics got swells in all the right places, Vocals samples are pretty neat where did you get them from? Very tasteful Great playing, maybe a real kit sound would sound better? Guitar is tone is quality, great mixing
