OFFlCIAL BROOKLYN NETS VS HOUSTON ROCKETS GAME THREAD
I guess I should expect a slow thread today
Hi user. I am also watching this game.
Is Anderson ever going to make a shot again?
Want to watch it but TV only broadcasts the Charlotte game
hello there
AYYYYYYYYy
Watching.
Great teamwork with Ariza and Harden, although he needs to be more of a scorer rather than a passer.
eventually
I have a stream if you're interested
2bh do we think that Pat Bev will EVER play good Dfense like he used to?
I don't think so. I think the knee injury will prevent that
yes
Did you not see the OKC game? Bev locked Westgod down hard.
He just hit a 3.
That would be fucking great desu
RIP pat the nat
I mean defense
ifirstrowus.eu
All right then. If this doesn't work for you I might be able to find a different stream
I don't think it's a coincidence that since he came back from injury that the Rockets are 10-2 with a top 6 defense in that time span
Is Ryan Anderson elite?
He's an elite scorer
R/a/wkits
Yes.
Harden, Gordon, Anderson new Big 3
>Anthony Bennett
Holy shit, I thought he was overseas.
good foul tbqfh
Merci beaucoup mon ami!
America truly best ally
If he played like this the whole game every game, sure he'd be, but he doesn't.
Yeah but I think thats just bc of team all together
I mean good D like when he would play against westgook and curry memechuck
He was in Argentina
Then they found out he was the only non white there and sent him back to the US
The nets needed bodies
They also stopped giving Corey fucking Brewer minutes. Turns out replacing an awful player with a good one improves a team.
He's a better rebounder than I thought he'd be. And despite his shooting struggles, defenders always have to respect his range.
Sam Dekker in, countdown to poster dunk in 3.. 2..
cbssports.com
Reminder the Rawkets are elite, a dark-horse, and legit title contender
I miss the days where the Rockets were a good free throw shooting team (Yao days)
Is Jeremy Lin any good?
>Eric Gordon missed a 3
Is this real life?
He was great on the Hornets. I loved watching him play in the first round last year.
with the way harden was shooting free throws earlier in the season I thought the issues spread to him too
He was okay at the Hornets, but being injured right now and still struggling with chemistry issues, I can't really tell.
yes
>Tfw your team is so shit Bennett might actually make them better.
Please send him
He was meh on the hornets desu
His 3pt % was shit
His defense improved but he struggled to find a good scoring plan
who am I kidding hes worse than Delly
He's alright but was a great pickup for the Nets, who really just need someone good enough to turn them from a dumpster fire into respectability.
I've always felt like Lin is a worse version of Harden.
Lin has also finally improved his shitty decision making and mediocre spot-up shooting, which used to both be huge liabilities, and helps compensate for his reducing athleticism.
I'm sure he'll be available after the year
>reducing athleticism
Hes fast asf tho isnt he?
It's a shame Lin isn't still on the Hornets or a good team, he seems like he really puts in the work to improve himself every year.
Great first quarter, but Harden needs to score more.
I'm pretty sure the Nets won't win.
tfw no qt Scola bf.
He looks like he's reaching retirement, which is sad, because it's reminding me how good the Rockets were in 2007/2008. Totally a championship team if not for Ming and McGrady's injuries.
It seems like Dunkin' Dekker has finally cooled off after the past 6 games
He wants to be a starter and he's never going to be a starter on a good team. He's not good enough. $12m/yr is also nice, although I'm surprised he didn't get a couple of million more out of the Nets.
He's still pretty fast but he used to be massively dependent on his athleticism to do everything. Being a decent off-ball and spot-up shooter is how you survive in the league into your 30s.
it just wasn't meant to be for him
tru
Iverson learned that the hard way
Gord3n
Yao and TMac's injuries are the saddest story in the NBA to me. They could have accomplished so much together.
3RIC GORDON
I was so bummed when yao had to hang em up
The Rockets are retiring Ming's jersey, right?
its happening on February 2
AND3RSON
oh, dope. i'd say i want tmac's jersey retired too, but I think Ming deserves it more just for being chinese and in the HOF.
also, that was a really high alley oop by harden and capela
Nice to see Corey Brewer doing something useful and preparing for him post-NBA career
Its also the day the rockets will play against atlanta
Cockshits playing like shit
sweet, sweet karma
up by ten
Really? I think they're playing fine, probably the most comfortable game of the season. This is the sort of game you want against a team like the Nets
Spurs beat these Nets by 29 at home
>cockshits
Remind me, how many extra Ws did the Spurs get for winning by such a big margin?
5.
For 5 rings bitch
Oakland, we have a problem
thats nice but its hardens turn to win one
Rockets have gone 24 games straight with 10+ 3 pointers
ridiculous
anderson just keeps draining them
It's raining #3's
Ryan Anderson looks like he'll be a coach in a few years
If he can teach bigs to shoot 3's watch out
D3KKER
how did that go in?
>Allowing the Nets to hang around
JUST
you can work from hooooome
HARD3N
Are we gonna beat the Rockets in Houston?
i love this squad so much
No.
Also:
>we
(You)
I don't think you guys have the depth to do it.
OH FUCK BREWER IS PLAYING FUCKKKK
welp, time for the refs to give it to them
ERIC GODON
No, but the game shouldn't be this close at all
Is Eric Gordon elite?
so many open 3s
gordon saving the day
we beat a much better team (clippers) after being down 25. don't underestimate this nets squad. we'll probably lose but it's not surprising to see it close.
do you guys have an opinion on bojan bogdanovic?
Ayyye the Galleria has the tree up
great shooter and a tough ass motherfucker
COREY BREWER SUCKS
I haven't seen him play a lot so I don't have an opinion on him
