I doubt the pay is any good compared to coaching.

he makes alot more money now than he ever did at united

It's a lot more stable and safer though

he's on 15m pounds a year which is twice what wenger earns

Pundits btfo 4ever luv it

It's not a good sign for Liverpool if their manager gets that rustled by something a pundit said.

Klopp will end up going full Benitez at this rate, and probably surpass him.

Wasn't the consensus in Germany that he could get easily riled up? The veil is starting to slip.

Klopp's problem is that he was a pundit too before being a coach, and seemingly media guys take it to the heart criticism from "colleagues". Klopp probably still thinks of himself as a journo in some capacity

Only for the WC and as far as I remember he never took a swing at any player. All he ever did was explain tactics and shit.

He's a popular figure working with Sky, must be earning some serious dosh.

The Valencia run kinda ruined his credibility, he just gets BTFO whenever he starts an argument with a player/manager now.

Klopp rekt him when he said he clearly wasn't a good judge of player at Valencia, so why should we listen to him now

>full benitez
>veil is starting to slip
>rustled

Yeah he looks positively furious. I know people are desperate to find fault with Klopp, but it's pretty funny the lengths you'll go to in order to fuel the delusion.

He was smiling about it and the journalists were laughing, whilst he had them in his palm like always.

Klopp knows how to deal with the media probably better than anybody else in the Prem, things like "the normal one" or the way he talks about bad atmospheres at Anfield aren't improvised things. He uses the media to get his points across and a message

That's true but it is also obvious that for every valid criticism there is a Klopp overreaction to dismiss this. Makes the criticism look more valid many times to be honest if you can trigger him so easily.

You obviously don't know Klopp, mate. Whenever he puts on this agressive smile it's a clear indication that he's pissed as fuck and will start to attack pretty soon. It's like a dog showing his teeth before starting to bite.

>Makes the criticism look more valid many times to be honest if you can trigger him so easily.

Hardly, it's just Neville doing the same thing Klopp always has a go at the media for.

Knee jerking over a handful of bad results, trying to create a shitstorm and a narrative around a player/club.

He's a young keeper who's played 10 games for a club in a new country after a great season in another league last year, and the likes of Neville are already writing him off and talking about signing another goalkeeper in January and Joe Hart blah blah blah.

Klopp always views things as longterm and likes to change things on the training ground, so it's no surprise he gets a bit angry when failed managers in the media start calling players for all sorts after a few games

Klopp just made the point that Gary Neville doesn't care what's best for Karius or Liverpool, and his judgement on players has proven to be flawed, so why should they pay attention to what he says? Neville wants Liverpool to lose, and wants to create shitty headlines that get him page clicks and views

The media bombarded him with questions about it and he just said if Neville wants to talk to him then he can come and speak to him in person because Klopp doesn't use Twitter

He isn't rustled he has just made the decision to stand behind his player. Also, the fact that the pundit is ex man u prob has something to do with it too

>get upset at Neville because he ridiculed your keeper
>ignore the continued criticism by Carragher
What did they mean by this?

>you can only be an art critic if you can paint a masterpiece
>you can only criticize a film if you've directed an Oscar winning film
>you can only comment on football if you're a champions league winning manager

>you can only comment on football if you're a champions league winning manager
still not even true. Fergie ridiculed Henderson for the way he runs and received abuse from papers

The Mancs are scared of Liverpool. Jealous that Klopp is our manager.

Any chance they get to undermine us, expect it to happen.

The Karius situation is prime example of that. There will be other attempts.

>our
>us

Dude went full meme. Sad.

>Goalkeepers in other teams get shit on when they have a streak of bad performances
>Uproar when the media darling Liverpool's handsome and young GK is being criticised

really gets the noggin coggin

>"""bad"""
Karius gets critisized for literally nothing. I've yet to see him make an awful mistake that leads to a goal. The amount of shit he gets is completely disproportional to his perfomances.

Didn't even try to Antonio's goal. Was clueless stepping out

Average people hate us handsome people, this is why Ronaldo gets hated so much by many people as well.

The bigger issue in that scene was Matip and you can't really blame him either because the ball got deflected.

But that's the same for literally all goalkeepers in the prem (all foreign keepers at least).
Ignore defenders shitting the bed mostly and blame the keeper instead.

However Karius hasn't been good so far. Not bad but not good.

>you can only be an art critic if you can paint a masterpiece

That analogy doesn't work. The correct comparison to that would be "you can only critique goalkeepers if you were a top goalkeeper".

Klopp just doesn't care what a failed manager who openly wants Liverpool to fail thinks about his players. Literally nothing wrong with this

>ignore the continued criticism by Carragher

He didn't though.

Try actually listening to the conference rather than just reading media headlines, you might stop yourself looking like a reactionary retard then

don't get moody. Like Im going to watch a press conference. I get my news like all other non autists from the papers

>tfw Lelverpoop
>tfw "it's our year la"

Neville was to smart for La Liga just like Guardiola is to smart for Premeir League

>Reina suddenly becomes shit after new GK coach is appointed
>Jones dives the wrong way
>Mignolet's performances are worse every time since he joined Liverpool
>Karius, one of Germany's wonder kids and 2nd best GK in the Bundesliga after Neuer starts making mistakes after joining Liverpool

How can everybody ignore the common factor there? Grobbelaar is right, it's not the goalkeepers, it's the coach, John Achterberg.

Niggers did you even see the press conference?

youtu.be/b6Sye7wpS-s

This is a guy that was managed by Alex Ferguson during 20 years and learned nothing. He failed enormously in a job that is literally about judging players and analazing tactics, his opinion, at least in that matter is irrelevant.

No ones learned from what Sir Alex was doing at United, there hasn't been a successor and there will never be one. The only one that was actually going to have a shot at United was Giggs and the guy left the club after his 20+ years of service was thrown down the drain for mouyes. United are doomed to fail now.

>tfw random guatemalan on a taiwanese linedancing compendium knows better than our owners

he really does though. achtenberg is literal cancer and needs to die

He's on something like £2m a year.

>>Karius, one of Germany's wonder kids and 2nd best GK in the Bundesliga after Neuer starts making mistakes after joining Liverpool

AHAHAHAHAHA
He's not even in the top 5 of German keeper

yes but
>no pressure
>talk whatever you think
>get paid to watch games

But they did learn some stuff.
SAF also relied a lot in his strong personality, if you dont have his philosophy and character its all useless.
Neville took first in a country he didnt know the language nor the structure of the league, I doubt he's a terrible coach but he should stick to EPL imo

He's probably doing it because every pundit on TV is basically an ex-Lelvershit player and they all destroyed >De Gay when he started

Probably some of them did. Maybe Scholes or Giggs, he wasn't bad at all when he managed United for a few games.

Definitely better than Leno, better than Trapp and certainly better than Ter Stegen m8.

You have to have a a strong personality to be a successful manager, either in an authoritarian way like Ferguson, or a cunt way like Mou, or a hypocritical way like Poop. Guys without a strong personality like Ranieri can only win with meme magic and blood pacts with Satan.

>every pundit on TV is basically an ex-Lelvershit player
Other than Carra and Redknapp, who else? Owen doesn't count and the occassional McManaman - Alan Hansen is just as having Scholes or Ferdinand every once in a while.

Stop your memes. Karius was great at Mainz. There is a reason why he was voted second best keeper in the league.

>people still havent realised Neville is playing 4D Chess
>literally baiting Klopp into protecting his player
>Karius will continue to play and drop points
genius desu

Ranieri does have a good personality to get people like Vardy to have that good of a season.
What happens indoor is just speculation ofc, but you cant deny that.
I truly respect Neville for his career and perspective, but as someone said in the /epl/ he should have swallowed his pride and taken on a smaller league.

Lawro and Danny Murphy are both ex-Liverpool. Hansen and Lawro tore De Gea to shreds when he started. It's what all pundits do, they're probably not even being biased. If a player looks shit then they will call him shit. What are they supposed to say? I don't get why le cool geography teacher man is getting upset.

Isnt't it obvious that Neville only got the job at Valencia to distract from the massive money laundering with such a famous name? He wasn't really there to do a good coaching job in the first place.

What is up with Liverpool and these autist managers who get triggered and lose the plot

Klopp does seem to have a bit more common sense thankfully so I doubt he will completely meltdown, but just hoping here
