You'll probably get invited to the discord eventually, I think. I don't know if the invite links get posted here anymore after server ownership got changed though. It's nice to know you realize this isn't really the place for that kind of stuff. I know some new people see the ERP and think it's ok to do it here. I get that they're new, but there's a a rule in the OP. Nothing can be perfect though. /shrug ERP is definitely a hot topic here. Almost every time someone tells others to stop, threads tends to derail, or the discussion gets out of hand. There are a few that try to keep cool while discussing it though, like Karen and Kyouko. It was a school day, but it's Friday so I've been feeling good today.

You probably already know, but if you let the suckers grow on tomatoes, they take away nutrients and resources that can be used for flowering and fruit. Plus, they sprawl out all over instead of growing neat.
You probably also already know too that you can deep plant a tomato- the hairs on the stems turn into roots in the absence of light. It's a must here, otherwise a shallow rooted plant dies when the heat scalds the root system in summer.

Yeah, forgot about the seasonal opposites from here to there. Any kind of frost or cooler weather will kill or weaken nightshades (peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, etc.), so it was definitely time to get them out.

She was bought off a breeder while she was just off mothers milk, shes still under 6 months old. And the plant just didnt seem to take to the soil. Not sure what exactly happened, but the roots just didnt sink in. Our beets will survive through the winter, they're pretty well protected from wind.
How's winter down there? Does it go below the single digits or into the negatives? For the most part it's around 0-10 here, sometimes some dips below freezing, but definitely less often than when I was growing up.

I have ArmA 2, 3 and Insurgency. While the former are more realistic and slower paced, there are a lot of nice little things thrown in with Insurgency (more scripting, your character yells in fear when suppressed, actual voices, more effects)
It's much, much more of a pick up game. Couldnt last you ten minutes on some modes.

It gets quite windy here too, but mostly because we're on the prairie- no terrain to break up the wind from strong fronts or other weather systems.
Now that I think of it, your winter seems similar to ours, but you might have more wind. It really is erratic weather for us the past few years. It's tricked some of my plants a few times into budding early, only for a frost to kill the early growth off.
Guinness extra stout here, but once those are gone I'll probably take a shot or two of something.
Schedule definitely sounds packed, but on the flip side, the weekend awaits immediately after. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Wind chill is always fun, that's one part I don't necessarily miss from my days in the northern US. The really windy days can sometimes be helpful during hunting season at least.
