first for something I guess

Dubs and OP has to post his or her benis

something confirmed

Top 5 for REMOVE LEAF
also anime lads

Vettel 2017 WDC and Maldonado with Sauber or Manor

>55
Sainz it is then

>tfw Giovinazzi won't be in F1 next year

then be it

and my axe

>Mercedes AMG F1 still retweeting Champberg's pics

Just let him go

Toothpastes do we unite against the leafs or join their offense against krauts and aussie cunts?
We really need a battle plan for next year

I think he still is with them.
Just not as a driver anymore.

>Dutch leafs
hmmm

Literally the opposite mate. The sponsor that has sponsored literally his entire career just bought Manor. What do you think that means?

Why was Saari fired do you know? He was a bit annoying but clearly passionate and actually knowledgeable. The MTV F1 broadcasts were so shit this year though (what I saw at my parents' house), they aren't even at the venues for most of the time and just send that one woman to interview the drivers whilst everyone else stays in Helsinki. Really low budget shit

>reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/5ianq4/vettel_vs_ricciardo_qualifying_performance_2014/

Can you get a more desperate Vettel post than this?

>haha le internet meme wars vs udder countries haha xD !

Time to re-think your life m8.

>can't buyout Alonso
>can't buyout Bottas
>don't want Wehrlein

Trips of truth

I wonder how Wehrlein feels knowing everyone thinks he is a shit.

>r*ddit

Vettel apologists are my favorite. They are generally the same people who were calling for Kimi to be fired a year ago

Kimi could have pretty much matched Vettel on points this season if a couple of races went more his way (China, Spa) which is hilarious considering Vettel is a FOUR TIME WORLD CHAMPION IN HIS PRIME

Previous thread died sooo

She's my ex m8...

Yup. But she has a more feminine face

Holland pls.. Don't play with my heart

Probably the same when he got beaten in quali half the time by Rio "more full seasons than wins in GP2" Haryanto

Then last year they were back to claiming he was the GOAT

It's his own fault from what I've read. He believes his own hype.

>She's my ex m8...

Why do you want to text your ex?
Have some self-respect m8

-t. other Pajeet

>Why was Saari fired do you know?
I guess they are just trying to refresh the broadcasts. Also I had a feeling this year that Saari was beginning to lose his enthusiasm. His work with Kimiläinen especially was cringeworthy at best.

Why MTV doesn't travel to the venues is beyond me. The savings from broadcasting from Finland are not worth it. Having only one clueless bimbo on the pitlane is pointless.

then who's left?

>Sainz
mite b gud
>Nasr
lolno, i'd rather Wehrlein

is that it?

I've seen absolutely nothing from Wehrlein this season that has made me go 'woah, this kid can drive', he has been consistently unremarkable the whole year and seems cocky as fuck. Ocon, Nasr and Eric's son at least seemed like cool dudes off the track.

Because I miss her m8.

ps. How's life there m8. Any plans for the winter break? My friends are going on a road trip

And Ocon REALLY embarrassed him in Brazil. Sad!

checo

reddit only base their opinions on drivers on what they think their personality is
see: reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/5i9pv5/where_does_the_myth_that_alonso_is_an_unlucky/

I guess it saves them some money to not have to send like 5-8 people (including cameraman and whatever other crew) around the world and have them stay at hotels and have their expenses covered.

Either they are ultra jews or the F1 broadcasting rights cost a fuckton (probably both) but I think its actually 20 euros a month for this package, that is like a minute behind even the most potato.ru shitty 144p stream, So you would think they could afford to send their people to more than like 4 venues a year.

I don't blame Saari for not being interested, it probably isn't fun to host the show on a delay in Helsinki. Doesn't get to talk around the paddock, meet friends, find out info, do interviews etc. He's been in the sport a while and people actually know him and he often used to give some pretty fresh info in previous seasons. Shame though. Kimiläinen is a retard, the pitlane blonde is clearly not particularly interested, Oikarinen is knowledgable but a total autist with little charisma, Vilander is great but he also has racing to do and cant really host the show himself

>Maldonado in the Merc

oh please, oh please

You can almost smell the inner hamilton fan through the screen in that post.

>Maldontdo constantly qualifying 4th
>dives down the inside at turn 1
>cleans out all the front runners
>he does it everyrace
>Force India wins WCC

It should be noted that based on the reddit f1 user surveys, the majority of fans are from North America and started watching the sport in 2013 or later.

I think in the most recent survey that I saw, the most common "first year of watching" was 2014.

So reddit is basically Americans who have never watched the sport before the V6 Hybrid era, which should explain the quality of that sub

Yea he's just average. Ocon is driving a car that was made for the second shortest driver on the grid whilst he is the tallest. His helmet was literally in front of the air intake and still occasionally performed better than Wehrlein and totally outclassed him in the rain (which is actually a sign of a good driver) when they were running higher up than they should have.

Yeah the survey I saw from a few weeks ago had the top 3 nationalities as USA, Netherlands and UK in that order (Australia 4th lol). So that's probably a good explanation of why it's awful.

>outclassed him in the rain (which is actually a sign of a good driver)

has there ever been anybody who was good in the rain but about average in the dry?

Verstappen
Glock

Button?

There are more vintage examples but they are escaping my mind atm

>tfw /f1/ is the best general on Sup Forums and better than anything resort will ever produce

Feels good amigos

I suppose you could say Damon Hill, from the DvDs I've watched he was always good in the rain, but an average driver on the drive especially compared to those around him. But then again, he it's not like he wasn't an at least good driver.

his rain pace is as shit as his dry pace
in Canada 2011 for example Hamilton was WAY quicker when it was raining and they were both in the race
Button's talent was that his soft driving style was good for the tyres

>Button's talent was that his soft driving style was good for the tyres

his super-smooth style was also good in the rain cos NOGRIP.jpg but yeah I'm not exactly a fan.

also something to be considered is that vintage F1 had bigger engine disparity between the best and worst. the NA cars during the turbo era come to mind, mainly. thus joe schmo 'le underrated backmarker' with a few hundred less bhp suddenly looked really good when it rained.

I'd still say don't text her, but I don't know on what terms (or reasons) you ended it. IMO it's an ego thing; I wouldn't text first because that makes it look like I'm still attached and I need her more than she ever needed me

Then again, I'm an autist who spends most of his time on Sup Forums and has never had a gf

Life here is good m8. Grad school is interesting as fuck (although my GPA is already shit). Planning to head back to India over the winter break, actually.

The fact that I can legally drink here makes it a lot less fun, so my m8s & I all decided to head back to Delhi to sneak around Nehru Park and drink 'illegally'

The V8 taxis seem to have brought the old Adelaide GP track back to life and put it in Newcastle by the beach.

>The fact that I can legally drink here

Wait what? wtf is the drinking age in India?

you can't trigger me
I'm behind 7 layers of irony

Button is alright in the dry and in the wet. Its just that his driving style is particularly suitable for wet conditions because

a) it requires a very well-balanced car with no le understeer in the dry (hence why you always heard him complain about understeer), so it is also much better in the wet, where grip is limited than e.g. Montoya/Alonso understeer as fuck but yolo style

b) he has one of the smoothest and less aggressive driving styles naturally

He is also for some reason considered some sort of tire gamble god even though it works out maybe 60% of the time and people just forget the times he ends up going on the wrong tires

60% of the time it worked everytime

It's gonna be fucking Wehrlein, isn't it...?

And the smug cunt will act like he earned it as well.

after watching this i think maurizio is /ourguy/

They were all pretty funny tbqh, claire was a little disappointing but eh

The grid already thinks he's the biggest prick. He was complaining about the FI not being as good as the Mercedes he usually drives at the tests.

He isn't actually a Syrian refugee is he? Certainly entitled enough to be one.

>He was complaining about the FI not being as good as the Mercedes he usually drives at the tests.
That's a legitimate complaint though. How could Force India ever win a WDC if they don't have the fastest car?

>one historical figure to have a conversation with
>'my father'
Oh god.

Its called negotiating for more money

Williams are in a win-win situation though. It's likely they are asking for a fuckload of money, like more than Bottas is worth

OPTION A: Bottas goes to Mercedes, Williams get a lot of money, free engines, whatever

OPTION B: Bottas doesn't go to Mercedes, they get to keep their better driver and don't have to scramble for a replacement

Compare this to e.g. Force India who let Fisichella go drive for Ferrari because its his dream, didn't stand in the way of Hulkenberg leaving to Renault etc

It's a legitimate way to get FI to go to the media and explain they chose your teammate because you're a simpering cunt. I hope Hamilton dominates him to the point his career is over in one season.

Force India is a pretty based team desu. They just let Fisi leave, mid season.

Why would you hope that though? If Wehrlein does well it at least would turn out to be a justified decision on Mercedes' part to have taken him.

>OPTION B: Bottas doesn't go to Mercedes, they get to keep their better driver and don't have to scramble for a replacement
You could say that about any of the possible teams. Who wouldn't go for a Merc engine deal in return for a driver, apart from McLaren?

Speaking of, when will Honda have to start providing engines to more than one team?

I'm sure there was a bit of money involved but at least they had the decency to not milk it to the point that it might kill the deal, especially doing so whilst commenting on the process publicly

>get to drive a Mercedes F1 car several times before ever racing in F1
>also get to drive a Force India which is a pretty good car and certainly better than the team you race in
>complain that its not as good as the team with 5x the budget

yeah hes a cunt

>Those answers from Claire

She is totally a sub pretending to be a boss isn't she?

He's very well liked in Youtube and twitter comments.

Well lets start with the fact that Merc haven't really expressed interest in any drivers aside from Bottas and Wehrlein and maybe Alonso but that got killed off pretty quickly.

Bottas has connections, he is managed by Wolff, has Merc connections, is basically the no. 1 candidate on paper. I doubt Mercedes have even gone after someone like Perez. So basically Williams know they have the driver Mercedes want, which is why they are milking it so hard.

Honda will start providing engines to others when other teams want them I guess. Don't know if anyone actually wants them at this point. Guesses would be that Sauber/Manor makes a switch to Honda at some point and maybe Red Bull eventually if Renault starts fucking up

Like did no one ever teach him manners? Unless you flat out asked me to compare the two, I wouldn't comment on the other car vs yours. Even then, you don't have to be a cunt about it.

Putting champagne bottles up your ass is liked in alot of circles; doesn't mean it's a good idea

they base their opinion on his personality on how he is in interviews, you guys base it on rumors
imo doing either is shit so people should stop and wait

>I doubt anybody is gonna beat Lewis
Bernie is going senile, Rosberg just did it

Because he's a nigger and all the faggots are on the muh diversity train. The paddock only cares about speed and temperament and he's not fast enough to be a primadonna like the champs.

>teach

that thumbnail give me a chuckle for some reason

but Hamilton is very popular on many youtube and twitter regions

*unpopular

>Toto with a bottle of SALMARI

wtf I love Toto now

Also,

>implying Bernie has watched a single race in the past 20 years

I genuinely don't think he gives a shit about the races, he just cares about his product and the money it makes

i love toto since the moment i learned he speaks polish
what a guy desu

I like his Schwarzenegger accent

Remember that time at the USGP when he was repeatedly told to stop his car, and didn't?

That's why FI didn't pick him, and likely why Mercedes are looking for any other option. F1 isn't about popularity on youtube, it's about how fast they drive, how much money they bring, and how well they obey the engineers and look after the very expensive machinery they get given.

Wurly wasn't convincingly fast against Haryanto or Ocon, doesn't bring any money and clearly lacks the mechanical empathy and doesn't obey orders.

I like him because he's so robotic that he's like a German Spock. I prefer it Horner's obviously lying through his teeth thing.

I'm pretty sure Bernie is really good at shapeshifting and confusing everyone into thinking he is a businessman only and has no heart for anything. He has slowly been pushed out of power when it comes to the actual racing and at the same time the racing has become shitter. I'm putting one and one together, he is chaotic good.
