What's the longest film you've watched in one sitting? I watched pic related, was pretty good.

Lawrence of Arabia.
Would be yours but I sadly had to stop watching half way through
directors cut. OP, I have that one Blu Ray and plan on getting around to it as soon as I have a whole day free

wow i'm retarded, meant to link the image in the file section. my bad
Just checked and the US release was an hour shorter. WTF?
Gone With The Wind
Kids were fucking horrible in this by the way. Only Dominic and Max were okay.

How was it?
Really enjoyabe, more than i thought it would be due to its runtime... it gets slow every hour, even painfully if you're one of those guys that keeps looking at his cellphone every 5 minutes.
Seven Samurai probably
Either this or Novecento, both 315 minutes
>all these children
I'm still amazed how that movie did not feel like 4 hours long. At no point was I checking the time seeker or distracted on something else.
les vampires
the satin slipper
from what is before
as i was moving ahead....
and yes i have no life or gf
that's a pretty shit flick.
also, i don't have the stamina to watch anything longer than 1h45min in one sit anymore.

Been meaning to watch this, how was it?
I was going to watch das boot, never realised how long it is, wow. How long is the directors cut?
This looks pretty bad, I probably wouldn't watch it if it was an hour and a half, but five and a half hours! How bad was it?
Never heard of them, where either good?
Stranger Things
Tbh it really is a 8 hour movie
My fav film. Sergio Leone's masterpiece and the greatest mafia movie of all time.
Also, Elizabeth McGovern is my cheekfu.
Holy crap dude, were any of them worth it? Which one was the best? How would you rate each out of ten? Sorry I'm asking so many questions it's just those are crazy long run times.
Nearly 5 hours, but I've never been able to find a decent HD copy of it.
...
But user, it was meant to be seen as 4 and a half hour movie.
I replied to the wrong person
Second person to post this, might check it out. Any good?
Nyphomaniac back to back was pretty long for me. Over five hours I think just so LVT could give us wtf bs ending in the last 30 seconds.
Literally perfect. One of the greatest films of all time and a must see if you're a man, of course. If you're a woman or a nu-male, it's a waste of time for you
I'm not sure which is longer, but every year or so I end up watching Gone with the Wind in one sitting, as well as Lord of the Rings (individually, extended cut - not all at once. Over the course of three nights.)
I think they're both in the ballpark of the 250 minute range.
The Greatest Story Never Told
I'm not a nu-male or a woman, but I don't see how at least some themes in the movie are universal if you allow yourself to be immersed by an all male cast.
Was it shit? What was it about?
Ok, ill check it out.
I could not stick a ww2 documentary longer than like 2 and a half hours, idk why, guess its flashbacks of boring lessons from my shitty history teacher. That's a crazy long film, but I guess its good for a full spectrum on the subject.
Gonna watch stranger things soon, also nice dubs.
I've been meaning to watch this and Shoah for some time now. I really need to tell myself to watch these films the next two Saturdays.
I think you win dude.
It's 8 hours of popcorn flick nonsense. If it was a movie, and had decent writers, it probably would have been a lot better.
I watched a workprint of Apocalypse Now that was +5 hours.
This without pausing even once. Four hours and one minute of actual movie time.
This face is so punchable.
Pretty impressive, but compared to some of the guys in this thread is pretty weak.
Any good?
It's more like six to seven hours.
Potop is really good
First half of Novecento is good too, but then Bertolucci goes full commie during the second half and it goes downhill
Das Boot, Director's Cut
About 210 minutes, but I did pause to get up to stretch a few times
Not really.
Directors cut is 3.5 hours, uncut tv version is 5 hours
both are on PTP on blu ray :^)
This piece of shit right here. 205 minutes of over budgeted pointlessness aspiring to be "profound"
norte
my favorite is as i was moving ahead...
you should check it out, it's a masterpiece about human life
les vampires is also amazing
the satin slipper didn't interest me for the most part even though i love the director, i'm not re watching that one
and from what is before was a step up from diaz, but i've never liked his style while approaching those themes, but i can see why he's so loved
i'm bad with ratings btw
haven't watched that one yet, but i've seen evolution of a filipino family and from what is before and i didn't care for them or their style
i'd get if a try still even if it's more of the same. i think his most polished
