I was reading something about how, originality is dead because capitalism won the cold war.
In the past electronic music felt like a futuristic music. It was even used in tv shows and movies as futuristic music.
But now electronic music is dull, normalized, its the music of the present.
And i agree with that other poster that rap ages the worst.
Look at odd future, came out a couple of years ago and people are already cringing about why they liked that immature crap.
As an artist you should also know that pop culture references will age your art like nothing else.
Art needs to be about emotions, thats why the beatles can travel through time, all their music is about love.
