Sup Forumscore essentials chart

denzel curry, wutang, bowie, swans

Is it really? I mean yeah he has DG but I don't recognize much else of it, though it is a bit weird he has at least three 2017 albums on there already.

I was telling him to listen to the essentials. Because he clearly hasn't with all that shitty metal core.

...

i guess i could do one of these again

also hope all of you are having a nice friday :-)

Not a fan of most of these but check out Cities Aviv, Blackie and Dälek I guess
Nice list, check out Overseer and Goodie Mob

fuck that patrician crap though

Do you know what patrician means?

Ohhh I hear ya, fair enough. Thought you were calling his chart essentially a Sup Forumscore essentials chart.

the cure >>>> the smiths, get you some Disintegration and Pornography
don't recognize a lot of this but i'm assuming good chunks of this chart are dark ambient and modern compositions?
#defendpoppunk
props on ryoji ikeda, still haven't listened to saturday night big cock salaryman b/c i've literally never seen a positive review of it. i guess the context is different now that the gero is back and not presumed literally dead?

Thanks for the Wolf Eyes rec, I still need to go through more of their catalogue outside of Burned Mind, Human Animal, and Undertow, so I'll give it a listen.

Hello friends!

I love so many albums on here, holy shit. If you like Joanna check out Angel Olsen. And check out Shinki Chen.

I like Saturday Night Big Cock Salaryman due to the fact that it feels like Juntaro is going through some harrowing shit

actually was about to grab SNBCSM but it's not on JPS, [RED], APL, or NWCD. Would you be a dear and upload it to one of those?

I think you need to approach music with a different attitude. The reason why the essentials chart exists is to give people a jumping off point, so they can come into these threads with some experience. Just saying "fuck that" and calling people snobs isn't going to help you learn anything about music, or further your enjoyment of it, which is the reason all of us are here (for the most part)
