It's not Floyd's best, musically speaking, but the way the album coherently pieces together it's simplistic yet emotionally striking concepts into a full on narrative format is commendable, and for that it earns its place as a true GOAT album, albeit not as high as Floyd's other masterpieces.

Non meme answer, its a very good album that should almost be treated as an opera. Not every track is a great stand alone song, but they're more like scene transitions towards the actual songs as another user said. The lyrics are mandatory to understand why those "filler" songs exist. Took me more then one listen to appreciate it more fully.
