Are these morel mushrooms?
looks like it
You got your self some fine dongels there!
Thanks man, found them in my front yard. I'm a retard when it comes to shrooms but is there anyway I can replant them and grow more or something?
Bump
Boomp
bump
that's my guess. what state?
Oregon
Pretty sure those are legit Morels but cut them lengthwise and check to make sure they're hollow.
Awesome thanks for the advice
look like morel, make sure they are hollow on the inside.
if they are hollow, that's a Morel.
If it is not hollow, its deadly poisonous
Looks like it!!! Man those are good on a fucking cheeseburger.
Not deadly, but yeah. If they're reddish-orange in color they're poisonous. I remember the old "it's reddish you might get deadish" adage, lol.
You sould eat them on a cheeseburger.
But man its just better to lightly fry them in flower and butter.
Not that im dissing the cheeseburger thing, but they are just fine eating them alone too.
Chef-fag here
Yeah they're morels. Mildly poisonous raw so you need to cook them but make sure to clean them first, grit gets inside them and can ruin them. Bugs too. Don't wash them under a tap just brush them off with something like a pastry brush. Fry them in butter. Fucking delicious find.

Yes, a little dry. Brine them in saltwater 6-8 hours, after slicing lengthwise. Parasites hide in the hollow stem. Dredge in flour and salt/pepper to taste, fry in butter or lard (bacon grease)
don't eat mushrooms you find outside unless you're a very experienced mushroomer and have really studied mushrooms, especially the ones that grow in your area
many edible species look very similar to inedible or toxic species
it is tempting to go for that good found ti myself dish, but it's not worth the risk unless you really know what you're doing
since you're asking for mushroom identification on fucking Sup Forums, I can assume you know nothing of shroomery and should definitely not eat anything you've found since you cannot even correctly identify it
idiot
SeeWhen did I ever say I was going to eat them
EAT THEM ON LIVE STREAM
Yup those are Morels
Source : spent 6 months working in a fresh food packaging plant that shipped them
Yes, yes, and yes-those are Morels 100% certainty. I was picking the last of the ones expected to grow in St Louis County, found a few today, 12-14 lbs this season. Decent find mate
op if the stems aren't hollow theyre false morels and if you eat them youll get horrible diarrhea
So these are just yummy?
Fry them in a nice beer batter, they're better than pork.
