continuing with the obvious

Fuck no.

Movies are good but they lack a ton of the nuance the books provided.

They also made Faramir a twinkboy.

Don't EVER post here again.

The Martian. The book was insufferable. The film was a really enjoyable summer popcorn flick.

watched the movies 3 times each, no regrets

Blade Runner

You know it's true.

Both the book and the flick are equally shit.

books are shit-tier, bad prose and might as well be outsourced fan-fiction
films are pretty good desu

I liked the Swedish version of this much more than the book (the American remake is just complete shit)

>bad prose and might as well be outsourced fan-fiction
But that's exactly what I was thinking about the movie(s). Didn't read the book but if you're serious in saying that it's worse (and go as far as saying the films are good) I'll have to assume they're of satanic origin.

Bitch even the slow motion was better in the book

Agreed. The american b̶o̶y̶ m̶a̶l̶e̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶t̶a̶g̶o̶n̶i̶s̶t̶ non-vampire kid actor was better though.

I think you meant to say "no ragrets"

Except for Lamia's death.

Now that's just not true. It's fun, but really awkwardly made in general, and tries too hard to be some sort of 2000s Princess Bride

Not him, but I think the movies are god tier guilty pleasures. They're so bad, and yet so little self aware, that I watched all of them, if only for the cringe.

easy-peasy

Krakauer spends half the book talking about himself and how brave/cocky he is.

if you really read Watchmen and came to the conclusion that the Hack Snyder copy with the butchered characters and the shit ending is better just fucking end yourself, you digust me
