I'm afraid

I just read the lyrics of the album on Azlyrics and it's fucking shit. Pink Floyd is my favourite album and I'm one of the few that actually GETS the lyrics and not just "Hey I think I understand this one single sentence so that's what the song is about because I interpret this that way". No I get them. And they were better. Never really good in my opinion, comparing to other works of writings.

How is it musically?

>pink floyd is my favourite album
>one of the few that actually GETS the lyrics

you sound like an idiot, it's probably a good idea to listen to the album and make your own mind up

Favourite BAND. Typo

But I'm afraid!

Yeah, weak rehash

his best work is still Amused to Death

The Pink Floyd lyrics also sound like shit when disconnected from the music.

You have to listen to the music to decide if they're good or not.

I agree they go hand in hand but come on if you don't agree with the message it's going to be no either way.

And he starts off saying he's done a better job than GOD. Fuck off -.-'

Music is good though so far. Real fucking Pink Floyd sound.

>if you don't agree with the message it's going to be no either way.
this only applies if you're a complete moron
I'm not a liberal or a socialist and I can still listen, admire, and immensely enjoy tracks like Pigs and Dogs, as well as Smell the Roses.

Album is good but guitar work is pretty bad. The entire album is screaming "I need Gilmour" imo.

>Pink Floyd is my favourite album

>this only applies if you're a complete moron

No. It applies if you have your own opinion on things and it's not politically oriented either.

You're the moron if you let a melody affect your whole fucking view on things. Think again mate. I get it, yeah, he's brilliant in portraying his emotions through music but I still don't agree.

Corrected it to "Band". Been drinking, please forgive me o judging entity

>ou're the moron if you let a melody affect your whole fucking view on things.
why are you projecting?
I literally just said I don't do this.

You're really making zero sense now mate..

You're the one who has severe reading disability.
Where did I even mention melodies or anything of the kind? The conversation was always about lyrics, and that's what I was referring to when talking about Dogs or Pigs.

What? The lyrics on this are surprisingly okay. I was afraid the entire album was going to be insufferable whining about Trump but Roger's political bullshit only gets overbearing on a couple of tracks.

>surprisingly okay

The Pink Floyd lyrics also sound like shit when disconnected from the music. You have to listen to the music to decide if they're good or not

So the melody decides and not the lyrics.. Dude... stop trolling this board. Every other board okay, but not this one. Please? And I like /ck/ and /o/ as well

The first sentence was supposed to be greentext as taken from Picture That was fucking SHIT

>Broken Bones
How does he even dare to mention WWII when he still dresses up as a NAZI on stage??

No. This is bad.

Mods please delete this thread. CHILD PORN

You aren't forgiven

I don't have access to real CP nor do I want to but please delete this shit or I will look for it a post some

You mean nothing to me. This is bad. So fucking bad omfg. At "Smell The Roses" now and yeah is has some "okay" sounds but no. No. Just No.

What?

AOTY desu senpai

Old man yells at cloud: The album

Those last 3 songs are the best part of the album I think. I was in a thread last night where I mentioned the one thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a "resolution note" for the last song, it just kinda trails off. But I love it, can't stop listening.
