the only easy way for me to describe the difference would be that on the legit leak I got from someone is on vinyl. Also, there's one track with tape quality that has a piano and birds in the background that sounds like it was originally recorded on tape. Describing the other tracks would be hard, as they all sound bizarre, like he unlocked a new style.

that's the one. i have a feeling i may end up enjoying this album more than whatever is going to be released a month from now. this shit just sounds spellbinding to me. it's a pretty serious stylistic departure even for Aphex at this point.

some of these melodies are so fucking weird and off-tune, I think rich might be experimenting with micro-tones again. He did it a lot on SAW II but this is his first time using it in a more beat oriented style and I have no idea what to think of it
