IMO the best way to defeat North Korea is to blockade their country, from all sides. You prevent shipments from entering and leaving the country, while carpet bombing and shelling cities. Wait a few months of this, and when the civilians start to starve, they'll turn on their government. That way, the NATO Coalition will have loyalist people helping them fight North Korea.

What about the different government's missile-defense systems? I'm aware the U.S, England, Germany, Russia, China and most other moderately descent militarized countries have the capability to lock on nuclear warheads launched and destroy them mid-air, before impact. Nukes take like 3-7 minutes from launch to impact, dude. It isn't something that is like instant. Sometimes it can be as long as 20 minutes if it is 1/2 around the world.
Also... We have radar... And other means of detection for attempted EMP detonations. If not that, we have a naval ARMADA in the ocean, in all 7 fucking oceans/seas that are mobile HUGE radar/command centers. If the mainland is magically 100% knocked out, they'll still be our eyes in the sky.
