I posted a couple days ago that I hate that there's so many layers of irony and sarcasm on this board that it's basically impossible to have a real conversation about art.
Everyone's so wrapped in an image or in trolling or getting baited that you can't take anything as a real opinion and it makes the entire board suspect.
I hoped that the anonymity of the board would give rise to some real honest communication but it doesn't seem to be the case at all.

It's always good when you get a good conversation going. I try to post a few threads a week that I think are unique or interesting and there's normally a few dozens replies so I feel like I'm doing my part. Hopefully once school starts back up we'll lose some of the edgier members and have some more good conversations.
I've been here long enough to know that's not really the case but I hope it every year all the same.
