having 2

having an owner at all

>GLAZERS

Having a Jewish-American Club owner

>there were two potential buyers for Liverpool in 2007
>One was an investment group from the United Arab Emirstes with unlimited cash
>The other was a pair of Texans who had already bankrupted their previous two sports teams

Liverpool brought in on themselves tbqh, only a complete moron would look at Hicks' track record and say "I want that guy running my club!".

jesus the glazers are so ugly and bald

>Liverslip became a dynasty in an alternate universe due to arab money

Thank god we are not in that universe

they're in better (American) hands now

yea but woodward actually tries, he changes the manager when its not working and lets him spend a fuckton of money on players, thing is moyes and van laal were shit so obsiouvly they were not winning, he actually wants to win

What?
Man U spends like 200 billions gorrilian dollars every year

> watch a sport that revolves around zero (0) front office strategy
> literally watching "pay to win" the sport
Is there anything more retarded than sports without a salary cap?

And they could spend 500 billion gorillian if the jews didn't fuck them over

Yes, watching socialist trash where the worst team gets to ruin young talent.

Youth systems and scouting is where the strategy is.

>Here's $300 million. Wanna come play for *insert team with a lot of money*
>*win championship by buying talent*
The only real dynasty in soccer is the money.

There is financial fair play now where you are punished for building up too much debt in a 3 year period, it only started in like 2010 though so clubs that got rich owners early on benefited enormously

Utd might spend a shit ton of money but they make tons of money through shirt sales, sponsorships, tv money etc, they haven't won the league since 2013 anyway

Spending more doesn't mean winning. Arsenal and Liverpool spend crazy money all the time and are still irrelevant. Madrid barely won shit when they were outspending Barca and actually started to improve when they began spending less.

By signing big names like Pogba it's good for club marketing even though it might not be good for the team

>Arsenal and Liverpool spend crazy money all the time and are still irrelevant.

Not on wages, though. Arsenal and Liverpool have lagged far behind Man United/Chelsea and more recently Man City in terms of their wage bills for about a decade now, and shockingly they haven't won shit. Transfer fees alone are meaningless, to attract top players you need to pay insanely high wages. That's why the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham are stuck spending 25-30 million on players like Lallana and Sissoko.

>Madrid barely won shit when they were outspending Barca and actually started to improve when they began spending less.

They spent 100 million euros on one player and won the Champions League that same season, in what universe is that "spending less"? And their wage bill is still only just behind Barca's.

>jews are owners
>be surprised all they care about it money

haven't you been dealing with this problem for centuries Europe?

>Hicks bought the Texas Rangers, promptly bankrupted them, and sold off their best players
>Hicks bought Liverpool, promptly bankrupted them, and sold off their best players

How fucking stupid do you have to be to sell to that man? Instead of burning American flags, Liverpool fans should have formed an angry mob and went after the club's previous owner.

Arsenal is owned by a Christian, though. It's the same jackass who just fucked over St. Louis by moving the Rams to LA.

>Arsenal and Liverpool have lagged far behind Man United/Chelsea and more recently Man City in terms of their wage bills for about a decade now
Arsenal wages were very close to Chelsea when they won the league, and last season where everything went to shit for Chelsea, they had their HIGHEST wage ever. City got by far the highest wage now and are barely third. While wages matter too, perhaps even more than transfer fees, there is more to it.

Also Arsenal and Liverpool (and pretty much every EPLel club) outspend everybody else but Barca/Madrid/PSG and still can't even win Europa league or have more than one team in semis of CL for a while now. Apparently all the money in the EPL doesn't help the teams that much to actually play good.

Obviously money is important but it's pretty silly to accuse Manure owners of being jews after pumping hundreds of millions for three years and constantly having wages in top 3.

>They spent 100 million euros on one player
While selling couple others. By that time Perez got a lot more conservative with spending and balancing the budget and before Mourinho Madrid barely progressed beyond group phase, despite always spending fuckloads.

That's because the whole system is fucked and the whole thing relies on false economy that can only do one thing but collapse. There isn't a job in the world where you dictate to your boss and I can't think of another one where employees are paid more than the manager. The whole thing is one big unfunny joke. Just to put it in perspective

>1996
>Newcastle spend a world record £15m on Shearer (£26m adjusted for inflation)
>For that you got a proven PL goalscorer
>The PL top goal scorer for the previous 3 seasons
>Top scorer at the Euros
>Most PL goals of all time (although that was yet to be established at the time

>2016
>United pay £89m (a world record)
>For a player who had a good season in a meme league
>Was anonymous at the Euros
>Has funny haircuts XD

I fully expect him to be playing in China by 2020.
In fairness though football has just gotten generally worse and goalkeepers are probably at their worst level ever. I don't care about Neuer being a poor man's Higuita because he plays as a sweeper against FC Tractor every week, I don't care that de Gay makes a save with his foot every fortnight and then have to hear how he's "world class". I won't even bother with Lloris or Courtois. Why would anyone bother putting any real effort in to deserve big wages when they can be completely average and get £100kpw? Better still, apparently all you need to do now is have one good season at any club (normally a top one that has no competition) in a league somewhere in Europe (even if it's one no one can take seriously) and before you know it you're getting a guaranteed £250kpw for the next 5 years. Well until the next season when your agent starts touting you around to other clubs so can you sign a new contract at £275kpw and by pure coincidence the agent gets yet another monstrous cut.

I can't see this system failing either.

but it is shifting towards big business now and United are at the forefront of sustainability. as long as they can bring in big players, sell shirts to asians and spread their global image, just staying near the top will be enough for them to hang around for years to come

Did you consider that clubs are earning also much more now? Football is a much bigger business now and initially spending fuckloads on a popular player might still pay off, even if he doesn't perform on the field.

Diego Costa was a dirt cheap proven goal scorer for just 30m but he's no way near the popularity of more expensive but worse players, so the recuperate the money he HAS to deliver. Someone like Pogba will easy make it up with marketing shit as long he plays decent enough to remain a starter.

What's your problem with keepers, mate?

>murrifats eat everything they can get they get their hands on
>everything that is eaten gets turned into shit
>therefore everything murrifats get their hands on turns to shit

The true redpill

A meme league is your mother

>assblasted Puve fan detected

Poogba dominated your league and he's a meme in the EPL. Your league is a meme deal with it.

liverpool are doing alright

Sure, but only after they were bankrupted by other Americans.

Chinese owners are worse

>they haven't won the league since 2013 anyway
How do they show their faces in public

I hope you're joking.

>Van Gaal was shit

WEW.

This is why I'm ABU. Van Gaal gave Manure Champions League Tier Football that they didn't deserve after >Moyes was sacked. He was building a base so the team could be built from there. But because the English don't understand "Patience" or "Possession", opting for Hoofball to le pacey nigger, Van Gaal got Sacked.

Personally, Van Gaal just needed some more time. Yes, he did make a bad buy with Martial, but given maybe another Year he could have the team Atleast back on its feet after >Moyes.

But no, they go and Sack him and go with Jose "Its everyone's fault but mine" Mourinho.

>Thinking Salary Caps is a good thing

And this is why the MLS is as Mediocre as it is.

Having a Brazilian owner

morecambefc.com/news/article/2016-17/morecambe-football-club-club-statement-22nd-december-2016-3482961.aspx

CL football is the absolute minimum given the money he had, besides in his last season Chelsea was out of the race, Arsenil are a joke and he still managed to finish under Lester, Spuds and City (even though it was because of of goal difference)

Manure never looked like a team that will accomplish anything under Van Laal, it was basically another version of Arsenal, aiming for CL qualification without ever threatening to win anything, just without the goals. Thanks to Jose ABUs are in full force again because it's obvious that they compete again.

>Thanks to Jose ABUs are in full force again because it's obvious that they compete again.

You are joking right?

>Van Gaal gave Manure Champions League Tier Football that they didn't deserve
>Yes, he did make a bad buy with Martial
you clearly didn't watch them under LvG, the way they were playing was dire sterile possession and martial was the only positive from his last season with them

You do realise DIC fell into a load of shit after their takeover collapsed right? Liverpool would have been in trouble either way

>CL football is the absolute minimum given the money he had

Mourinho has spent a fuckton more and won't qualify for the CL this season

Martial was really good when playing for Van Laal, though

Nice crystal ball you have there. Care to tell who'll win CL this year?

Besides, you notice that Mouyes is closer to CL football than anybody but Chelsea is closer to the title, yeah? And even if me miraculously fails at getting top four, there is still winning the EL, without Sevilla there are basically no teams to beat left.

I say Martial is bad because LvG didn't exactly know where to put him.

What about Rashford?

I only said it because Sup Forums told me so, amd Van Gaal didn't know his position.

did dutchfag die?, have just recently came back to Sup Forums and im wondering if he finally killed himself

Why not DutchFag?
