ITT: best left-wing bands

...

More like The Kikes

Most of the best bands, really. I can't think of too many right-wing bands in general. I can think of right-wing musicians, but not bands.

>left-wing
>based
pick one

first post always the best post

left wing in the 60s is basically far-right now though.

I mean, I doubt if you asked them in 1964 if they'd be in favor of turning England into a third-world Kebabistan they would've agreed.

Nah you'd be surprised how little we've shifted since the late 60's. They'd probably still be cetner-left.

60's left wings were better, not like the pussy liberals we got now a days, this kids are afraid of holding guns for the revolution

That's true, most right wing bands are pretty trash. If we're talking about musicians, though, Joy Division is fucking great even though they were interested in fascism.

Radiohead (they're a meme and very popular but are still good)

Hey gramps what are you doing here on a Mongolian basket-weaving forum?

remember, liberalism =/= leftism

Liberalism, at least the modern form of Social Liberalism, is still left-wing though, just not as left-wing as Socialism, Communism etc.

what the fuck is the point of this

>Joy Division is fucking great even though they were interested in fascism.
I think they were interested in it aesthetically but you'd be hard-pressed to find any evidence of them supporting it in any way

trying to teach you kids the way of the revolution

scare Sup Forumstards way

This is true, but Ian Curtis was most probably right-of-centre in his views from the information we have available. No way was he a fascist though.

you're retarded if you believe that you can scare Sup Forumstards away. any political post is guaranteed to attract them, left-wing or right. basically just fucking stop it. you're literally begging them to shit up the board with posts like this.

Peter Hook and Bernard Sumner said they were interested in it at one point, and like what said, Ian did lean right.

>another "political" thread where three commies circlejerk until it reaches bump limit
stay in your containment board

I don't think they were fascist at all, there's plenty of reason to think they were against it. But I do think they were right leaning. Maybe they weren't, I never cared about New Order so maybe the band members talked about it later on but I wouldn't know

>not being a commie
wew lad

Wow Sup Forums is so smart I got BTFO

you need to fuck off

all of you go back to your respective containment boards you fucking insufferable sperg faggots. NO MORE. lefty or righty I don't give a shit just GET THE FUCK OFF MY BOARD.

Most of them in New Order don't really seem too much one way or the other and are probably quite apolitical like most. Ian definitely voted Conservative though, and he was definitely a little bit racist towards Asians
