edm/soundcloud rap is basically what emo/scene was around 2003-2007. those were horrible years for music.
this only makes me look forward to whats about to happen though. soon after the emo scene phase of myspace scene bands (soundcloud lil rapper bands), we got lil wayne drought 3, odd future, skrillex, and waka flocka, who forever changed the landscape and gave us a good few years run of fresh new sounds. todays current wave is currently still riding the wave those started, just in a younger, less good, shittier way. but there is light at the end of the tunnel my friends. idk what it will sound like or look like, but it will be 10x better than whats currently happening.

It's OK. She needs to get back to doing that unique pop+UK Garage+ rap thing. That's really all she's got. It's not an amazing show but that linked criticism is wrong and 50x more pretentious than anything in the show. He's wayyyy overthinking it, especially the improv parts. Why can't it just be lighthearted occasional comic relief instead of some Jungian ego defense mechanism?
