what's the best scooby-doo tv series and why is it the scooby-doo show?

youtube.com/watch?v=Wt4Pq7qMTKo

The Scooby-Doo Show (Charles A. Nichols, 1976-1978) is the distillation of the Scooby-Doo formula, almost the epitome of what Scooby-Doo as a show is to our culture.

I would argue it is lacking in the Atmosphere that "Where Are You" had, and is infinitely surpassed in quality by the Studio Mook Tetralogy and "Mystery Incorporated"

As for the most Kino Opening, this is my personal favorite:

Seriously underrated, the sequel is trash aside from the 2000's as fuck mystery inc building and the treehouse scene

Worst of the 80's DTV specials, still decent

>The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo
I want to watch this again because of Vincent Price and I have good memories of seeing it as a kid but reading up on it makes me think it won't be as good as I remember it. I don't think it even has the full gang.

It probably wont be AS good as when you saw it as a kid, but everything I posted there I think holds up.

It's a bit campy but that comes with the territory, you should check it out, and finish it with Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf!

>not the whole gang
true, it mixes up the formula

>he doesn't enjoy the recent scooby/WWE crossoverkino

how plebian can you get

they did like a scooby/scrappy Halloween type movie in the mid 90s? something about collecting ghosts? pls help

>see this thread
>I wonder just how many different types of scooby doo there were
>look it up
>they're going to make a hanna-barbera cinematic universe starting with a scooby doo reboot in a few years

I'M BIG

Scooby doo goes to hollywood

no such thing

the closest to what you are describing is The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo

I remember when I was a kid and getting ready for school. Every morning they'd have that shitty spin off where they were kids.

You have no idea how disappointing my mornings were. Even to this day I can't get that fucking song out of my head.

How do we feel about a Pup Named Scooby Doo?

it's not a great Doo adaptation but as a Proto-Tiny Toons it excels.

great visual gags and its existence brought us Animaniacs and Freakazoid so totally worth it.

t. red herring

That Johnny Bravo crossover episode was great

Remember when Ed took Daphne out on a date?

The one with the aliens and area 51 shit was pretty dope.

Strangers Things kinda reminds me of it

Remember the Live action/cartoon hybrid of Scooby and the Gang getting lost and killed in the woods?

Can't wait for the inevitable dark af "Telltale's Scooby-Doo"

Scooby Doo is full of stuff I half remember from being a kid but I'm not sure if it was real or I just made it up.
