Of all great movies in existence, Blair Witch Project is the second worst one to make a sequel to.

The worst is obviously Terminator 2.

The only movie that matters is TBWP and it doesn't have any visuals of the witch. I wouldn't worry about the shit that came out after it.

No joke, Blair Witch Project is one of my all time favorite films. However, its success feels almost accidental, like the true definition of lightning in a bottle. It is so perfect the way it is, and to recreate that magic would be impossible.

On some level, I feel a little insulted that they're still trying to turn this into a franchise, even after that abysmal Book Of Shadows trash. It would be like making a sequel to Martyrs. Just completely retarded, and dead on arrival.

Please don't make a franchise out of The Blair Witch Project. The film is above that.

I don't think anything after the original is going to diminish how good the original is. Nobody takes book of shadows seriously and the new one this year looks super generic and forgettable, although it could just be the typical cancerous trailer editing with stupid high octane music and electro blasts for jump scares.

MacFarlane made a toy for Blair witch. It looks ugly and not worth buying. They should have kept her appearance a secret

if the witch has the powers of time / geographical manipulation as implied in the first movie (which is redonkulously overpowered) it's probably hopeless.
